Well... What can I say? I am shocked, surprised and worried for what's going to happen going forward. No spoilers in this little blurb, but I had NO IDEA about the reveal in this episode. None. I'm still trying to get over it! I am somewhat hopeful, though. Surely there must be something they can do. I'm counting on it 😪

Yes, that is right! I should have worded that better 🙈 I have watched until the end of season 1 now and I understand Angel a lot more than I did back in this episode. I don't think there's any hope of reversing someone once they are a vampire, but I could be wrong. I actually don't mind that Angel is a vampire as much as I did when this was revealed! He has proved himself an ally of Buffys without a doubt 🥰 I hope you've had a nice weekend 💜

I adored this episode! Thank you so much for explaining a few things for me 😊 the invitation being open ended makes sense now. And then of course Buffy saying that he's not welcome there closes that open door, I think. Yes! Makes sense ☺️ ohhhh I have a lovely thought about a beautiful scene when she invites him in again in the future... 🥰 I would love to see Angel's curse lifted and for him to not be a vampire anymore but I don't even know if that's possible. There just doesn't seem to be any hope for a vampire SLAYER to be romantically involved with a vampire 😭 what a brilliant twist!!!

I don't think anyone will complain about more reaction videos lol but as always it comes down to what works best for you. 2 per week is a good number but 1 would be just fine too. The idea with the invitation into the house is that once it's made then it's considered permanent. Buffy invited Angel in after they escaped from the Three and so that's why he was able to rush in when Joyce was being attacked. It was briefly explained in episode 1 that to be turned into a vampire there is an entire "sucking thing," as Buffy puts it, that needs to take place. The vampire drinks the human's blood then forces them to drink from the vampire. Shortly thereafter, voila, new vampire. If it's just a normal vampire bite then it just results in injury or death, depending on how much blood is taken The cross shape that is burnt into Angel's chest is from the cross that Buffy is wearing, the one he gave her in episode 1. It happened when they leaned in for their kiss at the end, the last dialogue about it being painful is at first a commentary on their feelings for each other, and is then revealed to also be about cross and the physical pain as well. Kind of a a metaphor for how their relationship is going, the pain of being around each other while knowing that they probably can't be together, the classic star crossed lovers as it were. Probably the next big story arc episodes that everyone was waiting for you to get to. Some more of the Master, backstory on Angel, and lots dramatic relationship stuff. A favourite of mine and I suspect a lot of other folks as well.
