When I was a teenager in the 70's I knew several survivors from the camps. I saw the serial numbers tattooed on their arms and two of them were willing to talk about some of the things they went through in the war. It left a lasting impression and is one of the reasons I studied WW2 in particular and History in general my whole life. The greatest evil that exists is what humans do to each other.

I've finished the series and watched the documentary as well and the footage they showed of the prisoners haunts me... How could anyone do that to another human being? It is traumatising...
