I loved this episode when I first watched it. All of them coming together in this episode. I honestly love Rose, Jack, Donna, Sara Jane acting together. They really did put us through it with the ending to this part 1.

Chris! I'm not that far behind you in age hehe π I love that you can release those emotions here. That's made my day hearing that π₯°
Chris Green
I'm a 50 yr old man, and watching you cry in these episodes makes me cry!!! Great reaction!
Boone Bluemel
I could have sworn they were out on tuesdays (EST). Guess I got it wrong, or maybe it's timey wimey!
Juliette Gaming
Thank you, Thomas! I'm loving it all so very much!
Juliette Gaming
LMAO! It really does seem to be that way!
Juliette Gaming
Oh that frightened me for a moment as I thought I'd forgotten to schedule one! Doctor Who episodes are out on Thursday, 7am, AEST. Which is tomorrow morning!
Boone Bluemel
Where's the new episode π₯
Thomas Midena
Love your reactions Juliette. It's all about feeling the ride.
Juliette Gaming
No worries! Just check the title of the post as it will say if it's the full version, or the clean edit. This one says it's the full version.
The Dog Walker
Oh, sorry. I never watch full Versions.

His regenerations can be painful, but I also enjoy the speeches (or whatever you want to call it) he has when it happens. All of them make me cry. If you haven't recorded the next episode yet, I know you'll like at least 1 thing that comes from it. That's all I will say on that. This, and the next, episode is why I was asking on the YouTube video if you've seen Tennant's specials yet a couple episodes ago. Didn't want to spoil anything for you. Between this and watching the Ultraman movie marathon, I've had an emotional couple of days.

A old joke comes to mind: Russell Davies, Joss Whedon, and George RR Martin walk into a bar. Everyone you love dies. Stay strong, Jules. Don't let the bastards beat you. :-)

The fact that bees are in fact an intelligent space-faring species puts THE UNICORN AND THE WASP into a certain perspective.

When we first saw the 27 planets all arranged in the sky, did anyone think of a giant head saying 'SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT?' If you know, you know.
Martin Holt
These two episodes pull in both spinoffs, TORCHWOOD and SARAH JANE ADVENTURES. In fact, these two episodes combine the greatest hits of the Russell Davies DW arc.

Oh Man! I feel your pain with The Doctor especially as soon as Rose and The Doctor finally reunite too. This show definitely loves to break your heart, haha! Great Reaction, I can't wait for next week. β€οΈπ
Paul Hess
There's so much I can't or won't say until next week, but I will say that the next episode has some absolutely beautiful writing in it.
Chris Janes
Ahh been waiting so long for this run of episodes, they're all so good and so emotionally charged! Now gotta wait another week to see the next one too ahhh!
The Dog Walker
Ooops, never mind. I forgot there was no season in 2009, only specials.
Juliette Gaming
Knowing only so little about Sarah Jane, I was so happy to see that she'd accomplished so much since we last saw her. I felt so happy for her, as I mentioned in the outro (I think) that she lamented waiting for the Doctor for so long, and missed out on having children/a life. I was so happy for her π₯° I knew that the next few episodes were a bit all over the place as it was mentioned to me a while ago so I wanted to check that I actually had them (I do yay!) but I don't really know the reason for it and too scared to google π€£ so I just take it as it comes, whatever it may be hehe
The Dog Walker
Oh I thought you were 2 to 4 weeks ahead on episodes
Juliette Gaming
No audio as this is the full version. It's been this way from the beginning, due to it being illegal to share the full version.

No audio?

What a celebration this episode was of the first four years of the revived show, with all of the companions making a return. It was joyous, electrifying and heart-breaking, all at the same time. A brilliant, tantalising cliffhanger, one of the best in Who's history that absolutely guaranteed people would tune in again the next week. How Sarah Jane set herself up as an investigator with a son and a super computer in her attic is the subject of the spin-off show, The Sarah Jane Adventures. Very definitely worth a watch. You'd very much enjoy it. Likewise, how Captain Jack established Torchwood (very different to the Torchwood you see at the end of Season 2) is explored in the more adult spin-off show Torchwood. I'm not sure if you know, but after this season 4 aired in 2008, the following year, 2009, was a bit of a gap year for the show, with season 5 not arriving until 2010. I won't explain why - because spoilers! - but suffice to say there were five feature-length specials broadcast after the season 4 finale as follows: 1. Christmas Day 2008 2. Easter 2009 (11 April) 3. 15 November 2009 4. Christmas Day 2009 5. 1 January 2010 - New Year's Day Season 5 then got underway in April 2010 and ran as usual. I hope that helps! :)

I'm not sure if you ever did get around to checking out Torchwood or Sarah Jane Adventures in your own time, even just one episode, but If you did then you'll recognize Gwen, and Ianto (TW) and Luke (SJA). Of course if you haven't seen them yet, then you have a little insight now into the tone of the respective shows. Wow, probably the single biggest cliffhanger in TV history. Certainly in the UK. This hit all the media news outlets, talk shows, gossip columns, the lot. The nation went CRAZY for this one. Unlike Christopher Ecclestone whom we knew was only staying for one series and would regenerate at the end, this one truly caught us all off guard. We had no time to prepare ourselves for the shock.
The Rising Ape
Of all the cliffhangers, in all the tv shows, in all the world. You had to break my heart with this one. This two-parter and the next one are, in my opinion, the absolute best of this era of Doctor Who. I'm writing this with tears rolling down my face, again. I'm going to go now and watch the second part because waiting a week again would be real torture but don't worry, I'll be back to watch it with you next week as I love your reactions.
Nebraska
My favorite Donna Noble, is the version of *herself* when someone tries to make her feel small.
Nebraska
Fun fact: The first episode of the original Doctor Who was a 4 part episode.
Juliette Gaming
It all seems to happen at once! Come on, we need some good stuff soon π π€£π
Juliette Gaming
Nope, I'm still several weeks or more away from that
Mark Coyne
You've really been through it this week with Buffy, Angel and now this. Hang in there, there's a reason we all still love these shows, even though they gut-punch like this. We're all here with you.
The Dog Walker
Jules, have you already watched any of S5?
HugeBakkaeMotae
this was truly my avengers endgame!!! you need to check out sarah jane adventures its more family friendly but there are some AMAZING episodes in it same goes for torchwood but i believe youve alr started watching
Juliette Gaming
Neil π€£ mini-cliffhangers on gameshows! HAHA! I'm watching this season of Masterchef (almost wrote Master Chief!) and it's the same. "Ooh, lets cut into this steak." GASP! SHOCK! Nothing is shown and then BOOM have some ads. It's infuriating! And there's so many ads?! Martha is my least favourite companion as well, if I had to rank them. I don't know if anyone will be able to top Donna for me. I'm sure she is going to be my favourite forever π₯° Thank you, Neil! Careful with those rants. They might induce some premature wrinkle lines ππ
OverWims
Slightly different point but this is one reason I hate American shows like talk shows etc. They will return from adverts just to say literally 1 sentence then cut straight back to adverts again. They seem to have shorter adverts but more segments of them.
Juliette Gaming
Aww thank you, Jack! I'm glad to see you here!
Neil Hanson
THAT ENDING!!! I'm not the first person to say it, but cliffhangers suck. It's just so overused. It's bad enough when they do it in tv series, and ESPECIALLY films, but once they started doing those mini-cliffhangers on gameshows is when it went too far. That stupidly long pause they do before revealing or choosing whatever it is they're revealing or choosing, the 'find out after these advertisements' nonsense, just totally unnecessary and I hate it. (Sorry for the rant!) So it's the Who version of the Avengers then. Great to see Rose again (possibly still my favourite companion up to this point), and Jack also. Martha... well, she's around I suppose (my least favourite companion if you hadn't guessed). Can't wait to see next week's reaction, it's sure to be a great one. Thanks for another excellent reaction Juliette π
Jack Mitchell
couldn't wait any longer on youtube so paid to be a patrion haha love the reactions

Ahhh that explains why there were so many references in this episode! I loved it, it was a lot of fun remembering back to certain things. I'll never forget POOSH π€£
OverWims
You mentioned all the callbacks to previous episodes. There were so many. You picked up on a few of them (Clom, Mr Copper, Pyrovillia, Adipose breeding planet, Lost Moon of Poosh etc) some were a bit more niche (Martha being told to look out of a window like she had to see the rain in Smith & Jones or Jack mentioning the atmospheric shell like he did in Utopia). There was also the Shadow Proclamation, Martha's phone, The Valiant, the Dalek's impaired vision (which also happened in Parting of the Ways), Harriet willing to sacrifice herself for the sake of someone else (like she did in World War Three), Dalek Caan returning and Davros mentioning when Dalek Caan did his emergency temporal shift back in Evolution of the Daleks. There are also plenty of other callbacks in the next episode too. Russell seemed to want to make this a culmination of his tenure on the show and wanted to make as many callbacks to his time as he could.
NNC
Before we had The MCU and The Avengers, us folks in the UK had Doctor Who. As a kid, this episode BLEW MY MIND. Basically every character and companion in one episode with all the callbacks... GOD WHAT AN EPISODE!!!! Get ready, it's gonna be insane.
Juliette Gaming
I am SO SAD they ruined my happy moment ππ This is such a full on ending.... WHY do this to us ππ
Juliette Gaming
They are just FULL SPEED ahead! It's been one awesome episode after another!!
Jeremy B
Looking forward to watching your reaction to this one! Doctor Who doing Avengers Assemble years before the MCU by bringing all the companions back together.
Paul Hess
While we've been enjoying this awesome season with you, we've also been waiting with secret anticipation for you to get to these later episodes! ;-)

Welcome to the episode that broke the fandom and the uk, everyone was talking about this episode after it aired, people were phoning the doctors number and apparently people were going to the bookies to put odds on who the next doctor will be Your lucky because you can go straight into the next episode but we had to wait for 1 agonising week
