If you're still worried about spoilers from the intro, the last scenes are from ep 5. Same for Buffy. Usually like that every season.

I like that you are alternating between the two shows. If I may make one suggestion though, I think when there are two-parters, you should do them back to back. Not sure how your other patron's feel about it. There aren't a whole lot of them, so it wouldn't switch up your watch order too much. It's still a ways away, but there's a Buffy two-parter this season (episodes 15 and 16) and an Angel two-parter this season (episodes 18 and 19). I feel like those should be watched and posted back to back. Of course, if you don't do that I will not be upset or anything. lol Just thought I would suggest it. This is another great Angel episode. I love seeing Spike and Oz show up in L.A. Especially Spike. He's such a fun character. So glad they brought him back!

Also, the ring seems to be rather easily taken if one vamp (or slayer) can gain a momentary advantage and rip it off the other's finger.

Watching alternating is working well for me right now! I think it's the way the first season of Angel was aired anyway, so it makes sense. Plus, we get the bonus of not having X amount of X in a row, which is nice to break it up 😊

Oooh, interesting!! I don't really see Angel as wanting to be a hero for praise and glory. He just doesn't give off those vibes to me. He doesn't show off or boast. He's an interesting character.... I'm liking where the story is going!

Oz! It's Oz. Good old Oz. Oz! From a story telling perspective, of course Angel cannot keep the ring. It would take away too much tension. From an in-universe character perspective the reason Angel gives feels more like a justification. I see two possible real reasons. The more generous reading is that Angel doesn't feel he deserves it. The less generous one is that he wants to be hero of the play, and being unkillable sullies that.

I am glad that you are watching Buffy and Angel in 'as aired' alternating sequence. The only significant changes to that order that the reactor guides make is to allow watching some 2-part episodes from both series back-to-back instead of 'as aired'. If you are patient however, you will watch them as God and the TV network intended.

I like being awake when the episodes come out so if I make a mistake, I can quickly delete it.... remember the multiple intro episode or shall we forget that ever existed please 🤣 I could always upload them 2 hours earlier, like the ones on the channel!
