I enjoyed it as well! It was incredible to see an evil side to Cordy and to see her change! I do agree with you that this first season seems to be more about the characters finding their place. I'm very excited to see what happens in future seasons!

He ABSOLUTELY fits in better on Angel! I cannot believe I am now in the "I love Wesley" camp 🤣 On Buffy, he was our "enemy", until the last moment. Usually, I try to take Buffy's side as she is our leading lady, so I never warmed up to Wesley. But now? LOVE HIM! He's so cute and awkward and clumsy!!

I told you that Wesley would grow on you. I knew it! I definitely think he fits in much better here on Angel than he did on Buffy. I do sometimes wonder what things would be like if he had stayed on Buffy, but I definitely think his place is on Angel. This is one of my favorite MOTW episodes. I just find it fun to watch. Wesley is hilarious in this one. I love when he accidentally smacks himself with the axe. lol

One of the worst???, not for me, we haven't got to 'She', yet. It is a more than adequate MotW (Monster of the Week) episode. The first season of Angel has no strong season long story arc except for the Wolfram and Hart thread. Which can be a bit of a disappointment for veteran Buffy fans. However, that all changes soon enough. And the 1st season defines our characters' place and mission in the demonic underside of Los Angeles.

I wish my dreams were like Angel episodes! Mine are super mundane. For example I recently dreamt that I had cut my fingernails earlier but then noticed I had somehow forgot to cut a couple of them. Exciting right? 😂 Not my favourite episode this one. I like the idea of it, I just think that the execution wasn't the best. Cordelia drinking Angel's blood from the fridge always grosses me out! 🤮 I love Angel's little quip of not realising how disgusting it looks when he drinks it until now.
