Personally I really dislike this episode because it is just at odds with the established lore - among several other problems. But I'm glad you enjoyed it :-) And that final two scenes are great either way.

There's been the odd clue about this episode. When Faith was in her coma and Buffy was dreaming about her, Faith said "Little sis coming..." and Buffy replied, "So much to do before she gets here."

This episode is actually quite well in tune with the original Dracula novel by Bram Stoker. Dracula turns into a wolf there as well. Also he has a bug-eating servant called Renfield and he can control the weather. (So the rain at the beginning actually wasn't Willow's fault, it was Dracula manipulating the weather.)

The few episodes Buffy's sister was in previously were my favorite. She's a little older now so I'm sure that's why you didn't recognize her.

I think I saw a glimmer of recognition cross your face when Dracula said..... "You think you know Who you are What's to come You haven't even begun." This is an exact quote from Tara speaking for the First Slayer in the last episode. What else may have been said in that episode or even in Graduation Day Part II, for that matter?

I can't believe you don't remember she has a sister. You don't remember how frightened she was when Joyce lost it in Gingerbread? Or how she wanted Ted to be her new dad? How she was there for her mom when Buffy ran away in Anne?

It's always exciting when reactors get to season 5 because we get to watch them question their sanity and wonder what the hell is going on. This season is definitely a wild ride, and I can't wait to ride this rollercoaster with you, Juliette. 🙂 Seasons 1-4 are like when you're riding up to the top, and then starting at season 5 is when you're spiraling down at a high rate of speed. (Not trying to set expectations or anything, I just thought the rollercoaster analogy would be fun).

Stephen is right, I mean the episode where Buffy's sister followed Xander around like a love-sick puppy was sweet, but she was only 11 then, guess she didn't recognise her now she's grown up a bit.

I find it amazing how many people forget about Dawn. Just because she wasn't in every episode it's like they forget she existed at all SMH. Loved Dracula and how a castle just appears in Sunnydale. The actor playing Dracula had his own movie with him as Dracula premiering right about this time so the episode was a bit of a promotion for the movie. He had also worked with Sarah Michelle Gellar before on All My Children
