Preaching to the Horse's Mouth
"Feels good to be doing good." I think Gunn means he'd rather be helping real folks on the ground, rescuing people one at a time rather than fighting these giant apocalyptic battles. Not to say that that isn't also good. And not to mention dealing with the internal squabbles within the group. Which is also part of how Gwen was able to coerce him into helping in the first place.
