Actually I'm fairly certain this episode was originally meant to air in the first half of the season (possibly before the flesh episodes) and the line "In the flesh" was foreshadowing, instead of a reference. Oh and the psychic paper message is something we've seen before! River in the library sends the 10th doctor a message to ask him there. Decent episode though, scared the crap out of me as a kid.

I found this quite creepy when it originally aired back in 2011. It's definitely intended to be a filler episode, but I do enjoy it still. Hope you had a good Christmas!🎄
