I'm with this guy. I really just care that you watch them even if that's just on your own.

Andy Luke

Do react to Night of the Doctor. Only 7 minutes but busting with material. And as the follow up is 100 minutes maybe a week for each? Don't burn out. Buffy and Angel will be around their final acts and you know how hectic those can get

Keef Baker

The only truly essential minisode is Night of The Doctor which you're not up to yet. And even that isn't truly essential, but you're seriously missing out if you don't watch it.

Luxx_67

I'm so glad they brought Clara back, as much as I liked the other companions Clara is probably my favourite in recent years of DW.

Adinium

What did you think of the Doctor’s new outfit for this half of the season? If you saw he picked a more long brown jacket as opposed to the tweed jacket he had for the last few seasons. I think it’s his best outfit

jsm

You can actually buy that book on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Doctor-Who-Summer-Falls-Stories/dp/1849907234

Juliette Gaming

Ahhhh right, I do remember them saying the Great Intelligence from the Snowman episode!

Juliette Gaming

That's a great idea! I'll definitely make it clear each time. I've had a lot of comments about the PS minisode, so that one I reckon I really want to see!

Juliette Gaming

He makes a wonderful monk πŸ˜…

Juliette Gaming

Ahhhh so close!!

Juliette Gaming

I reckon that's the same with a lot of people! I've had a lot of comments saying that they've never seen them before as well 🀭

Juliette Gaming

GREAT idea!!

Juliette Gaming

That sounds like a good plan!!

Juliette Gaming

Juliette Gaming

Thank you, Mert!! That is awesome to hear. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Juliette Gaming

Thank you!! That sounds like a good plan πŸ’œ

A leaf! What more could I ask for 🀣

Nebraska

"I was just in the neighborhood on my mobile phone.*gestures to the TARDIS*" One of my top 5 jokes in Doctor Who. What do you mean nothing was explained about Clara? That leaf is "Page 1". What more do you need? lol

Jason

Juliette "P.S" ties into "Angels Take Manhatten" out of any minisode you could possibly see you will personally get something from watching it because you adored that trio. Please do watch it but it's fully up to you if you want to react to it. An acknowledgement that you've seen it would be more than enough for most.

Jason

Almost all minisodes are not vital & just add more story/sometimes set-up to an episode or part of The Doctor's life not seen in an episode. "P.S" is somewhat beneficial because it was actually a sequence that was meant to be shot but wasn't & ties into the aftermath of The Angels Take Manhatten. The 2 minisodes before the 50th are not vital but entertaining if you also watch the 1996 TV movie of Doctor Who it adds even more context basically the glut of 50th anniversary content (inc a faithful drama on the creation of Doctor Who starring David Bradley/Walder Frey from Game Of Thrones as the 1st Doc) avaliable was a big deal at the time & we were very spoiled. My biggest suggestion is to watch what you want when you want but consider watching them in your own time (no reaction) as they do add something new.

ColonelPants

When I was watching DW with my gf- the only minisodes I showed her were for Day of the Doctor, as well as Genesis of the Daleks from Classic Who as I think it makes great context, and it is also a good episode despite it's age. Like most people here have said, most of them are skippable and you should feel no pressure to watch them if you don't want to.

Jade Ellis

I agree with most people here that it's up to you if you do reactions to minisodes or not while agreeing that PS and the two before the 50th should be possible reaction. apart form those I really can't remember any of the other minisodes. That said there are a few things that would be interesting to react to around the 50th. Don't know if you have a mod or not that can advise on them.

Mert Sanli

I honestly only care about if you watch the minisodes or not and i dont really need to see you react to them. I dont think that all of them are necessary, sometimes i go back and find one that didnt watch back then and it feels like finding treasure. the are a few of them that are important like the night of the doctor minisode. It is your channel and we are happy when you are happy nothing else. x

fraser prokhor pokrovskii

just wanna say i love watching these with you!!

DarkStar 57

Would suggest labelling mini sode reactions as "Special Reactions" that you do when and if you feel like it and just explain that at the start of the next one you decide to do.

TDA Entertainment

This is your channel Juliette, you can do whatever makes you happy. Never feel forced to do anything. If you were to upload, I'll most likely watch them. I don't think I ever even watched them myself lol.

Boone Bluemel

Sesskasays is another Who reactor I follow, kind of THE Who reactor. She did a lot of the eleventh doctor's minisdoes after she had finished his era, when she had caught up and needed more content to do. I personally saw them all years after the show, so they're not really necessary to watch in order.

Dale Gaskins

The only must-watch minisode is right before the 50th anniversary episodes! Definitely would love to see that one here

Oliver

The Doctor didn't say Amelia Pond was a great name for an author, but a great name, like in a fairy tale. Nice touch that she would become an author....

Jonathan Giles

In a completely unrelated post. Love this episode!!!!!!

Jonathan Giles

The Minisodes are fun Easter eggs and extras. Have very little effect on the overall show. (Theres 2 before and one after The Day of the doctor that are pretty useful.) Kinda annoyed that people have been moaning at you lol πŸ˜† πŸ™„

Martin

And this is an excellent episode! LOTS of nods to various things throughout and also the Dr as a monk!!

Martin

Yeah I think similar to everyone else with the minisodes they can help but not vital, so no issues if you watch them just you. I saw none of them at the time and it didn’t affect the watching experience I only came to see them years later. Ps and day of the Doctor are the only two that should actually have been part of the episodes themselves! So I think like others are saying do those two here and the rest just do them at your leisure πŸ‘

Trey Moore

Most of the minisodes are just fun bonuses. I think the only must watch one would be before the 50th anniversary. Basically, they’re fun extras. If they add to your enjoyment, watch them. If they’re causing negativity, skip them. I think we’d all just prefer you have a positive viewing experience!

Oliver

Minisodes: Just include a short intro where you state that you react to this or that minisode but you don't want it to become a regular thing and want to stick to the normal episodes as as the. Should be enough for ever everybody? It's your choice to share bonuses after all ...

Juliette Gaming

It sure seems like a waiting game! I have had lots of thoughts about Clara... I think she's an innocent party here to whatever is happening. She doesn't know about these past lives. Hmm... Well if she DOES, then she's excellent at hiding it! Oh goodness, I just had a new thought... What if she ends up being some evil entity 🀣 That would be cool! The Doctor is on the case, trying to work it out, so I will put my trust in him and let him do all the hard work haha!

Adinium

So not sure if you realised but the great intelligence was the villain from the last episode with the snowmen, he was inside the massive snow globe until Dr Simeon got his mind erased by the memory worm and the intelligence was able to control his form before dying. The intelligence itself didn’t die and now seems to mimic the form of Doctor Simeon as seen on the computer screen in this episode.

monulito

About the minisodes: Please watch them all, we would love to see

Alice Summers

Interestingly enough Jenna Coleman's casting was announced before "Asylum of the Daleks" aired so aside from setting up the mystery of Clara it was perhaps a bit of trolling on Moffat's part to have her appear early. It's fun to have you speculate on what the mystery is and to wait for you to find out what's going on. This was a great start to the second part of the season with lots of lovely moments, though I agree that the 'spoonheads' were a bit creepy. It's a good one to revisit as it set up a few things to be explored later, including the easily-missed detail that someone happened to have the Doctor's number and gave it to Clara.

Juliette Gaming

Awww thank you!! I really hope you enjoy πŸ’œ

Juliette Gaming

Thank you, Neil πŸ’œ maybe I can do one or two and then make a little disclaimer saying to not expect them, it's a one off or a rare occasion 🀭 I'm mostly interested in the PS one at this stage!

Juliette Gaming

See, this has been mentioned so much and is a big reason why I wanted to put the question out there! A lot of people recommend PS so I'm very keen!

Sadbnnuy

I don't find any of the prequels and minisodes aside from PS to be worth it. I never saw them originally and never affected my enjoyment. Love this episode and Clara can't wait for more ❀️

Neil Hanson

I'd love to see anything you decide to react to. I'm not at all concerned about which or how many minisodes/prequels that may be, that's entirely your choice. That being said, if it's causing you any stress then I think it may be better to skip reacting to them and just watch for yourself instead.

Brandon (KiwiMaddog)

Hi Juliette! I think you should consider watching the two minisodes before the day of the doctor as they are important to understanding the plot. Love your reactions!

LukeVonDoom

The one thing that always gets me excited for Wednesday evenings, a brand new doctor who reaction video from you, thank you! πŸ˜πŸ™
