Visca's Earth Conquest Devlog #7: The Ocean!

City's gonna be pretty damn hefty as far as art assets go, but once that's done then it's on to final touches to the game like getting rid of all of the placeholder art, finalizing sound effects, and making a proper final boss! (The actual final boss is completely different from the asteroid guy that crashes the game LOL)

I do enjoy your writing (from the shorts, specifically), it's very light-hearted. There's a lot of opportunity for some back-and-forth. Flavour text and fine details like that really is the soul of a game/project sometimes.

Holy shit thank you lol There is some lore there specifically with the boss lady but I want to avoid being too heavy-handed with it. The reason for everything resetting between rampages is Legend of Zelda clay pot logic, just don't think about it too hard lmao

The quality ramp-up from the last version I've seen here is amazing, I'm looking forward to it more than anything else this year. I wonder what the lore is for Visca's continued rampages. Is it a simulation? A Bites The Dust time loop? Or am I overthinking a funny video graham just a little bit too much?

Very interesting Dev Kurger, now how do you feel about fromsoft copying your concept of bigger equals stronger? Will you take legal action against them? Please do be merciful, they're a very small studio. In all seriousness the game looks fun and interesting and I can't wait to play it.
