I started on this just after Inktober/Beeftober wrapped up. I wanted to continue the momentum I'd built up from doing and posting a new drawing every day. This has taken me longer to do than I hoped, because (among other things) I was also working on this animation of Starburst (or, more, precisely, her costume). And a concept sketch or two of a Starburst story...
Anyway. We are getting closer to Tetsuko's confrontation with the monster, trust me! But I also like to do character stuff, and there's a little bit more of that before the action begins.

Tetsuko looks great, yes she is naked, but she still looks great

I haven't had a proper chance to reveal this yet, but Jim is a devout Christian, and Tetsuko is considerate enough of his beliefs that she doesn't want to make him uncomfortable if she can avoid it. so really not so strange.
