I think you're off to a really good start with showing how Makzusa *is* as a person. Especially given how you've showcased Kahzra's mostly-reasonable nature: having her react like this is a good sign for the audience how awful she is. There's also the doubletalk of "Southern tongue is so simple and direct" and "oh my name is from the Southern tongue and there's no good translation". Like. Wow.
