I'm really loving those younger boys... must be the Grandma in me. And the look on Kazhra's face in that last panel..! LOL This situation feels somewhat "brittle" to me - there is some genuine welcome, but also some forced hospitality on the part of several of the players in this scene. It seems to me that the Emperor is trying to favorably impress - and amiably overwhelm - the "barbarian" Six-Feathers, so that when he presents his possible terms of peace they will have "and all this could be yours if you'll only agree!" implicitly attached.
