TQ 117 thumbnail
🕑 Added 2020-04-22 16:28:06 +0000 UTCI'm starting to get art block with TQ thumbnails, so it takes longer than normal to finish the layouts. If I keep struggling with it then it's only going to stress me out and make the problem worse, so I'm considering taking a break from pages to work on other stuff that I've already got sketched out.
Is anyone interested in TQ fashion? Because I'm preparing concept art for TQ's eventual print run that includes our main characters in a bunch of different outfits and I'd love to drop that off here once I get a chance to finish what I've got started.
Jintu may or may not end up getting several pages to himself because the boy has clothes for days.

Thinking beyond catwalk/Vogue/Elle "fashion" clothing to scenes from movies/plays/musicals: * Jintu and his brothers as mobsters in a dance scene from a 1930's/1940's musical. Stage visible, cityscape backdrop is Art Deco but clearly flat-painted. They're the only ones on stage. Don't forget the Fedoras and cardboard tommy-guns. * Jintu as Frank Sinatra. Suit, dress shirt with loosened tie, jacket thrown over right shoulder, Fedora. 3/4 view from left rear with Jintu looking back over left shoulder. * Jintu and Kazha as Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca. "We'll always have Paris...." * Zusufula and Razendi at a late 1930's/early 1940's nightclub scene. He dressed in black-tie, she in glamorous lame gown with plenty of decolleté. * Zusufula and Razendi as Caesar and Cleopatra from the 1960's "Dick & Liz" version. She's on a chaise, he's standing by the head. * Either pair (though preferably Z&R) as Bogie and Bacall in "To Have and Have Not" - "You do know how to whistle, dontcha? You put your lips together and blow." * Z&R as Burt Lancaster and Shirley Jones in "Elmer Gantry." Both are standing, he's in a suit but she's wearing just a slip and has one leg provocatively placed with her foot on a chair. * Any other classic scenes you might see on Turner Classic Movies.

Do what you need to, do what what you must, art block isn't fun. By all means, please do! I'd be interested in seeing the show!

Fashion sounds like fun! And this may be showing my age, but I'd like to see Jintu doing the "anti-fashion" as James Dean...
