As one who has lived in the desert southwest for many years, I can state with confidence that keeping the blinds closed will NOT keep out the dust - so you may as well have the ventilation! I like that Razendi looks younger in the re-draw. Considering that as a child she had given a flower to "one of the princes" who was close to her in age, the re-draw fits her better.

Kiri is awesome! I also feel like their wagon feels more wagon-y than in the previous version. And that second-to-last panel where Razendi and Kiri are peeking through the blinds might be my favorite new panel.

I LOVE these side by sides. The updates are gorgeous and its fun to see the evolution on your story telling. I can understand why some people prefer the old face shapes, but the new art is stunning!

Honestly I'm surprised each time you do a page redo, since I think "Nah Shaw's art can't get any better." But then it does and I'm just left in awe. The gold really adds luxury to the caravan and the new expressions are so lively too. I love that panel Kiri and Razendi's peeping on Zusufula with that slight light coming in on them, it's so gorgeous and just says to me "There's something fine on the other side!" And of course Zusufula is absolutely fine!

I actually prefer the new versions 😊 They have more movement and fluidity in storytelling, the details are lovely and one can understand why they were added. 😍 Also, I LOVE how the colors pop now! 🤩💜
