The choice of scale armor makes a lot more stylistic sense now, given recent…revelations. I did wonder why an empire which clearly had the technology to make barbutes and helms was choosing to issue nasal helmets and coifs…a substantial protection downgrade, that. But I suppose palace guards may have ceremonial armor as well as battle plate.

I think he’s mad Yrin is THERE. He was probably hoping Yrin would be posted inside the party but he probably was put outside due TO the bruises. So Miidro is quite literally the reason his plan may have fallen apart
