Does Miidro know that Khatilo's son is being held as a political hostage until Kizarasunga gets back home? Does Khatilo know if he knows? This is a ball that has dignitaries from all over, including the ones they know about (Razendi) and the ones they don't know about (Izhingo and Soktonba). This could easily turn into something that escalates the war with Zizumbira, or causes new wars with other countries. Or Miidro might simply be planning to murder the entire royal family, maybe that's why he poisoned the guards' barely soup earlier in the day. If Miidro was a traitor secretly working for Gahmia, I can't see what he'd do differently than he's doing right now.

The firework effects are PRISTINE. I can’t wait to see Miidro’s expression when he learns that the Emperor dismissed Khatilo within five seconds of meeting Kizarasunga.
