This month I've also been preparing for a nsfw short that might be part of an anthology with some friends later on! I've been doing some visual development, a few potential covers, some scripting and some thumbnailing. Although it IS planned for an anthology, patrons will see it first because the group agreed to keep things casual.
Immediately next on the agenda though are some nsfw WIPs of Gloriana and Oleander. I think I'll start on a comic to formally introduce them and their dynamic after I finish with this anthology entry!
As a personal life update: I've been experiencing constant headaches and eye strain for months. It started around the time I got some new glasses. My regular optometrist was on sabbatical so I had to go someplace else and I should have just saved my money. The new place kept making mistakes and both my spouse and I were in and out of there every couple of weeks for several months trying to sort out problems. I don't know what they did to my prescription to fuck it up but I know it was the glasses they gave me because when I started wearing my old pair again the eye strain and headaches immediately went away. I confirmed my regular guy is working again and I have an appointment this week.
I've honestly been pretty bummed lately for a number of reasons. But I've been enjoying the Dungeon Meshi anime and I even went to the beach with my dog this month! Please share nice things you've experienced/tried/watched/read lately, I'm a little starved for positivity right now.

We had a window a good weather and had a lil cook out with my friends. We all pitched in and grilled and laughed and had a great time! Then it got stormy, and it reminded me of summers back home. Dungeon Meshi is also feeding my soul, I haven’t read the manga, but plan to soon!

I watched Disney’s Hercules last night in one of my Discord servers, and it was really fun!! Haven’t seen it in a while so it was great to watch again, plus we were riffing and just having fun the whole time :) And I’m excited for more TQ pages!!

I had the good fortune of meeting up with an old friend and hanging out for the afternoon. We caught up with each other, visited the local vinyl-only reord store, and generallly just enjoyed each other’s company for a while. Fantastic weather helped make for a fantastic day.

If you need positivity, I cannot recommend Jacob Collier enough. Little Blue, Mahogany Edition, on YouTube. He takes 20ish of his fans and sings with them, and the result is a little patch of heaven on earth. I’ll be seeing him in concert in few days, and I’m certain it will be one of the most joyous events of my life.

I recently discovered Sheri S. Tepper, a fantasy and sci fi writer. She not only writes well, she takes old folk tales and fairy tales and makes them her own. I recommend Beauty: a completely new old story. Really enjoyable.

That's so cool! Ngl I live in a place where we can't really have basements at all because we're barely above sea level so the concept of basements in general is just cool to me and finished basements are like secret club houses. I am very jealous. I want to party with my friends in a snazzy basement that sounds rad.

My friends finished their DnD basement at their new house enough for our group to start games there! It's been very fun and we finished an 8 hour session this Saturday to celebrate!
