Judge Anderson wip02

I had very little time to work on Judge Anderson so far, as I needed to focus on Max Black last week. And this week my wife's going to make a surgery that will require some ten days of rest, so I'll have to take on more house chores, which will reduce my working hours a bit. I'll need to pause Judge Anderson for a few weeks, I believe.
But in my last week, people made a few observations about the pose I'd chosen, and the character's proportions. I made a few tweaks in the rough model. Is it looking more natural now? If it's not, I may have to change the pose completely.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll probably only be able to work on Judge Anderson again next week, so I'll make a new pose reference search, while also taking yours into consideration ;)

I like the character and you have done great with the face as usual! π I agree that thereβs something awkward in the pose (almost gives the vibe like she really needs to pee, but the toilet is occupied! π€), but hard to pinpoint what exactly. If you decide to go for a different pose and want to highlight the assets at the back like in this one, how about having her shoot her pistol in an extra wide isosceles stance? (Kinda bending the knees and sticking out the butt just a bit more than optimal. )

Yes, that's probably what I'll do.

new pose maybe?

2. Bend the right knee, and lift the right heel.

1. Bend the wrist in the opposite direction, so that the pistol is pointing upwards, but not at such a dramatic angle.

The pose is still awkward. The right wrist bend is not anatomically possible, and those straight legs donβt go with that curved spine. My suggestions would be:

Pose still seems off. Feel like the back would be straighter. I don't think the right hand can really bend downward quite that much. Just as a test I tried to stand as close to that pose as possible and it felt uncomfortable.
