1928 is the birthyear of Frank Frazetta, which would be awesome if you'd do a series based on his work. But given your hint that everyone knows this piece, and Frazetta isn't as widespread as say.... Walt Disney, I'm gonna go with a classic film that was released in the year 1928, one that would set a visionary artists on a track to wealth, fame and infamy; Steamboat Willie.
