Progress Report
🕑 Added 2025-05-25 03:58:14 +0000 UTCAlright! I held off on this until today, since the latest Mixed Media Releases were ready yesterday. I've also not had time to mess with the Short Story, so this is going to be regarding just Left Hand Magic.
As I mentioned in the last progress report, my firm desire to not have a repeat of last month's delay, means that I closed down rendering early. I managed all of Week 2, plus the first two days of Week 3. I'd honestly hoped to make it 3 days into week 3, but starting from such a deficit from last month's overrun made that hope a little bit of a stretch.
As is, I'm fairly pleased with how far I managed to get, and I think you lot will we as well, as the start of Week 3 reveals that we aren't getting repeat projects from the main routes. The Harem route will contain two entirely new projects for the Left Hand Magic crew, the start of both being featured in the images for this post. Arianna and Talia will be focused on a Golem Making project, with Revina and Trix exploring the possibilities of Transformation Magic. So far, we'll only see the start of both projects, but I hope it's a good show for what's to come. That this route isn't just a repeat of the game's other content!
Anyway, I've wrapped up rendering, beyond possibly squeezing in another fix for an old animation (there are already 3 more of those that will be part of the build). I've done the post-processing as well, and will be doing the format conversions needed tonight as well. With a little luck I'll also squeeze in the start of the programming, though I doubt I'll get very far.
If things don't go horribly with some medical testing I have to go through tomorrow (on a Sunday, so weird), then hopefully I'll be able to wrap up the majority of the programming tomorrow, then start on the writing on Monday. That would give me six full days, instead of the usual 3-4 I normally have for writing/editing. Which will hopefully keep a repeat of last month from happening.

It shouldn't be anything life threatening or anything. When trying (and failing because my primary care is a completely incompetent idiot) to solve a completely different problem, they discovered I have a couple of degenerating discs in my lumbar spine. The testing was an MRI to see how bad the damage is. I've had back issues since I got into a car accident 20 years ago at this point, so it's nothing new. Though it may be unfortunate if they decide things have gotten bad enough that I need PT or surgery to try and slow down additional damage. It's not the sort of thing that can really be Reversed, sadly. Just mitigated.

Thanks :-). Hopefully it won't be anything serious. The holiday weekend means I won't find anything out until at least tomorrow though -_-. Ugh.

This is the first time I've commented, but I'd also like to say, take care of yourself, first. I hope your testing and such goes well and you get the best result you could hope for! Thanks for all your hard work! Everything will be great, as it always is!

When ever I hear "medical testing 🤒", I get nervous 🥴. I hope everything is okay. Please do not stress about the deadline (like I would also). Everything will be fine 😊.
