Time Travel Back on Track (and Halloween plans)

Last month got busy irl between going to a friend's wedding, some other work, and quite a bit else that popped up, but the good news is that I'm back editing. The next entry in the time travel game videos is going to be Darkest of Days, since it's more of an obscure one that happens to have an insane level of ambition to it. It's also not actually sold anymore which only helped to bury it, and when it did the thing never went on sale. I also have Singularity completely recorded, so that'll be a matter of throwing that in an editor.

I still haven't forgotten about the Frictional catalogue either, and I know the next Amnesia title is Rebirth (which I have also gone through, but am going to again for the video/getting more footage) though Frictional's next actual entry was SOMA. I also still want to have a video on The Sinking City now that it's free from its legal dispute, but also Still Wakes the Deep ended up being an interesting development post-Machine for Pigs (same writer) so there's a LOT happening at once that'd be fun to work on. Not to mention Age of Decadence is also getting assembled since that needs a few playthroughs, but I do want that sooner than later with Iron Tower in a tricky spot.
So what's happening here is I'm noticing a bit of a theme. I have several ocean horror games (the adventure game video I'm thinking of for Halloween also has an ocean villain) so I'm wondering if it might be fun to have an OCEAN OF TERROR kind of theme for October. It's been a few years, but there was a period where I had a horror game out every week for October, but it was also not capped off by one of the nightmare adventure game videos so this one would be different. It'd likely mean me being slower on the draw in September just so they'd be in the chamber for that period, but this is something I'll feel out more as we get closer to that and we'll likely have some polls. The same goes for how to deal with SOMA/Rebirth as the next Frictional entry, since that'd obviously be a good fit for October if we do go that route, but I also have quite a few other sea terror games that could be slotted in instead and probably would not need nearly the same amount of time put in since SOMA's story has a ton to go over in comparison.
So for now, Darkest of Days is coming and I'll figure out where things should go next through polling.
Thanks so much for your support!

I should probably try that one in VR over just the regular game I went through, since it might be way more effective that way.

At last, a potential chance to hear you talk about NARCOSIS.

I'm down to see your take on SOMA. I don't care much about Rebirth, but SOMA has some really cool themes I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts on. Bunker has a lot of parallels with Alien Isolation in design so it'd be interesting to hear your take on it someday as well.

All sounds great to me. Take all the time you need Mandalore.

Still Wakes the Deep was such an interesting story wrapped around such an uninteresting game. I’d love to see your take on it

Themed months are always very fun, it's also not too common for that theme to be ocean horror

So hype for Darkest of Days video. Game has a special place in my heart

If you can pull it off, Ocean Of Terror capped off by a nightmare adventure game would be sick!

I remember the coverage of Darkest of Days before its release. They had a guy in a roman military gear with a gun standing around the booth. Also ocean themed October seems neat.

Sounds Like a lot of work but if you think it's manageable it also sounds like a lot of fun videos. If it really is too much you could always murder the pilgrims again, like you did for extraction. You've done it before and I don't think that many people mind.

Idea for a themed October seems very cool

One of the guys making Brigador worked on Darkest of Days, so I hope you got to talk to them to get some behind the scenes info.
