Idk if u caught this but the shadow clone that all the other shadow clones were calling a newbie, was actually a new clone. Before this, Boruto used to be able to make only 3 clones, so that was progress😂

While all that's true, the Huge Water Style here was from that device..but that Lightning Style was all purely his, it's whenever he brings out and pops one of those little pills is when he uses the device 🙃

From what i've read Boruto actually has 3 element affinity: lightning, wind and water, so him using water style is not impossible, we just haven't seen him use it until then. As far as the power of the jutsu he was able to cast without any water source nearby and the "speed" of the jutsu signs most people probably had the same thought as Tenten: "of course he could do that, he IS Naruto's kid"

Yeah I didn't agree with him cheating or id atleast used it to make some more shadow clones. Lol just made it too obvious but integrity is important lesson to learn for Boruto.

The little scrap with Metal & Shinki I really enjoyed. As far as Boruto, it’s hard.. you can tell he genuinely wants to impress and be respected by his day.. but he’s going about it the wrong way to where deep down he knows he isn’t doing it 100% on his own

I do like the similarities they show on this Chunin exam to the OG Naruto Chunin exam. I didn't even notice the comparison between rock lee and garra's son fighting the first time I watched this arch. Even Metal's stances during the fight were the same as Rock Lee's were.
