Aside from the Hogback one, that's a really good point! I'm pretty sure Hogback was stalking her or something when she was alive.

About Thriller Bark villains (the main 4), I think they are all a contrast to some of the straw hat members and that's kinda the main reason of why they are here: -Perona might be the one that is the least a contrast to any of the characters, but I think the negative theme is kinda made to be a contrast to Usopp. -Hogback is in a way a dark version of Chopper, because from what I think I got, Hogback really became evil after Cindry's death, and I think Chopper might have go down a dark path after Hiluluk's death if Dalton didn't stop him and Kureha didn't took him in. -Absalom is a contrast of Sanji and, while I agree he was not the best point of Thriller Bark, I think what is good is that it shows that even if Sanji is a pervert, he still seems to know when a line is crossed, and if Sanji got his hand on the clear-clear fruit before Absalom, he might actually have been as bad as Absalom. -Finally there's Moria and Luffy but I can't really talk about it yet since there's still a few informations on Moria that are missing at the moment. But, what I really like about Thriller Bark is really how it shows so much character development by showing kind of a "dark" side to all the straw hats, and I feel like up to that point, the only villain that was kind of a contrast to one of the main characters was Crocodile with Luffy.
