As i was watching luffy literally put his everything here and remembering the lucci fight i realized how important it was for the story to turn out that way

You have to cut the fodder some slack, they spent three years hiding in Moria's shadow (pun intended), their wills are beyond broken, so of course they'd be constantly giving up.

Yeahh he did kind of a stupid move because i believe when he woke back up after nightmare luffy's thrashing he thought about his old self and crew from which he decided "F it lets show this basically younger me why he would get crushed in the new world just like i did"

The fight with Oars is great since the team working was very cool but i feel really disappointed about the Moria fight. In fact, Luffy didn't win but Moria lose. By this I mean if Moria did litterally nothing he would have won this. He beat himself by taking the 1000 shadows and that's it. I know it come down from his personality and all but idk it was just weird to me especially since he wants to become king of pirate basically without doing anything (letting his zombies did it for him)
