Actually, emphasis is a very English concept. It doesn't exist in my first language, French, nor in Japanese. All the syllables are supposed to be quite even and none is emphasized more than the other. Any emphasis you hear is due to tone or preference and people are not actually taught to do it - it's not a thing. Side note, I remember the English lesson when I first learned about emphasis... "it's not TOmato it's toMAto, see?" The teacher had 26 teenagers looking at her like she was crazy because none of us could hear the difference. I still can't to this day!

Pronouncing names in Japanese, you put the emphasis on the first syllable. This helps to differentiate it from the word the name is based on. KI za ru. NA ru to. SA su ke. RO ro no a ZO ro.

Thank you for correcting that! Idk what I read in the past but I swear I saw something about Luffy VA's voicing Sentomaru at some pt, now I'm gonna question everything I think I know about the anime 😂

^ correct. Sentomaru is voiced by the beloved Kazue Ikura who voice Kaori Makimura, the female co-lead in worldwide famous City Hunter. She's incredibly talented.

They don't have the same voice actor, Sentomaru VA is Kazue Ikura, while Luffy is Mayumi Tanaka.
