Vados: "There are 12 universes in total" Jack having a brain fart moments later: "So there is an odd universe among the 13 universes without a pairing to add up to 13?" 😂 I love Jack. He is usually on point with lore memorization, so it's doubly funny to me when he goofs like that seconds after it was explained. Just mixed up the two numbers of 12 and the "twin universes adding up to 13" that Vados mentioned, very understandable.

Goku also just doesn't have a job lol. To me the job is prob the biggest reason Gohan realistically wouldn't go, cause Videl is a sweetheart to Gohan and would prob tell him to go while she watched their kid. It's only 4 days. Hell, even Mr. Satan would prob love to babysit his grandchild part of the time.

Also I’m pretty sure it’s a total of 12 universes not 13. But they are counterpart universes if their numbers add up to 13. Example: universe 12 + universe 1 or universe 6 + universe 7. Hope that helps (:

Things about Piccolo you might not know from OG DB. He is a cloned son of Demon King Piccolo. And Demon King Piccolo was actually only half of a complete Namekian. The other half was Kami. The original being was good but was being corrupted internally so they separated. I mention all of this because Piccolo or Ma Junior (roughly meaning Junior of the Demon, ya know like MAjin Buu) has had his own personal history and journey to work out. Then he has to mentally connect with Kami to be a more complete version of the original Namekian DK Piccolo and Kami once were. His character arc seems to have died to most but he just has a lot of potential that essentially is but isn't his own, making it a long arduous journey to actualize what his potential is truly capable of. This is all underlying unspoken plot (which is most of the DB franchise) so hopefully you'll remember this and understand as you keep watching Super

There are only 12 universes. The paired universes numbers all total to 13. So 6+7 and 2+11 both =13. I'm sure 13 has numerical significance to a Japanese religion or even fighting in some capacity. Either way, there aren't any unpaired universes but there is more detail to the universes that'll come up down the line
