the blade destroyed by the rust individual, was the Yurashibi blade, one of the 50 skilful grade swords (not cursed) it was an heirloom, the cursed blade was the Sandai Kitetsu (red) if that helps at all, again amazing reactions thank you

It wasn't the cursed blade that got rusted. I'm sure you know this now. But the sword he lost was the Yubashiri, the sword he got from the shop-owner because of the display Zoro did with the cursed blade by tossing it in the air and testing his luck against it. Sandai Kitetsu (or Kitetsu the 3rd) is the name of the Cursed Sword

cp9's fate is only depicted in the manga in a cover story. if you don't want to get spoiled by the chapter titles of future arcs i recommend you read it when you're done with the sabaody arc and part of the impel down arc.

Which is exactly how oda will exploit some of the biggest mysteries in the series lol, Luffy knows probably DEEPER secrets about the world and his ancestral lineage that we probably still don't know and yet he just chooses to not say anything.

Okay these two episodes, I am so happy that he got to upload them together. But Jack, you know Luffy, do you really think he would even think to volunteer information about his family and who they are? He just doesn't think about it or care about it. I mean Luffy didn't even know he had a father which shows he definitely didn't ask about him lol, you really think he's just gonna say casually "oh yeah my grandpa" to people when Garp is brought up? Our pirate captain has a few brain cells and they are all dedicating to food, knowing who to fight, and causing chaos with his friends.

"Michael and Hoichael, the menace from the backstreets" is a running joke through the Water 7 saga. According to SBS Volume 39, their criminal records involve breaking windows, shoplifting, and Yagara Bull gang activity. They have also been caught at least 620 times in a span of 6 years. Back when Iceberg was shot, the train station officers were whispering rumors that it was done by "Michael and Hoichael, the menace from the backstreets" Also on Rocketman when Paulie was telling Tilestone and Lulu about the identity of CP9, they had been thinking that it was "Michael and Hoichael from the backstreets"

Another Fun fact: Oda stated that during the first chapters where Garp gets introduced, he decided to draw him with that doggy hat, to kinda "hide" his face because Oda thought if fans saw Garp's face directly people might saw the resemblance to Luffy leading to fans discovering he was Luffy's grandpa before Oda intended to reveal it to us

Jack the destroyed blade was yubashiri, one of the 50 (or now 49) ryo (skillful grade) wazomono blades. It was the sword salesman's finest sword that was a treasure to him, and he gave it to zoro after sensing that he was a true swordsman because of how he acted with the cursed blade, kitetsu III. So the cursed blade is still intact.

"That was the cursed blade?!" Zoro paid for the cursed sword. In the brief flashback, we're being shown this is/was the sword gifted by that merchant. Chiming in asap; my apologies if this already dawned on you.
