Discontinuing Boruto + other Viz Anime on Patreon - Notice
🕑 Added 2023-03-23 20:06:36 +0000 UTCHey all, it has been a hectic few days with the DMCA from Viz, and unfortunately I just received ANOTHER for the timecode reaction posted two days ago.
In order to protect my Patreon, I will not be uploading my reaction to Boruto 293 here, nor linking anything to previous Boruto reactions, and will have to find a different solution for HxH, Death Note, etc. I know this is upsetting news to some of you, but I cannot keep dealing with suspensions that completely halt the channel and page.
Going forward for every reaction I will only have the timecode on screen (with no slice of the show showing) in order to completely substantiate my claims of being within fair use (which I already am in the format that I use).
For those of you that subscribed to the Patreon for Boruto and Boruto alone or you would just like a refund in general, you are more than welcome to message me here on Patreon and I will go about the process of doing so for you.

Sorry to hear that this is because of the publishers. I subscribed specifically for the mob psycho reactions but can’t really watch with the timer format. I won’t ask for a refund, I understand it’s out of your control. An option that some do are to use the YouTube membership subscription, and then have that send people to discord where you can post links (with a password) to the videos. Food for thought if that is an option. Otherwise there are large reactors (Like RTTV) who do full reactions to most shows on Patreon. Not sure if they just haven’t been caught, but maybe they would have some advice on how they prevent it

Funny that there was a guy in these comments recently, i think for the mob psycho reactions or one piece reactions, talking about how he didn't see why Jack had to do this format and that other reactors were better. Welllll buddy this is what happens
Anime publishers will do anything to claim you and it sucks for anime reaction channels. Hopefully you can find ways around the system to combat the studios abusing the DMCA

Well that sucks but you do what you need to. Tho could you just put up the time code only and no thumbnail of the show itself. So basically all we see is you and numbers? I know some won’t be able to perfectly sync that way but I’d rather have a delay then nothing at all. I wish I knew an IP lawyer for you.
