It’s time for the regular development update for Innocent Witches. In this one we’ll mostly talk about what’s coming next in Innocent Witches, as well as other topics. Let’s begin!
But first of all… Wait! Before that, a couple of words about the release of 0.10.3B and 0.9.10B, which we were working on for the past 10 days! These versions have fixes for different bugs that have been reported since the release of 0.10.2B and 0.9.9B, plus some neat additions.

0.9.10-beta
1. Added one more random encounter in Forbidden Forest
2. Added a costume for Sonya
3. Updated Marcus minion when he holds a cookie
4. Fixed the issue with Broken Elder Wand in Act 2 Chapter 1
5. Final stage in Luna's minigame (weekend) will now work properly when repeated after the minigame has been completed
6. Removed the mention about the official seal and present for letter interface from Sonya's knowledge base in new plot
7. Updated web version splashscreen with a suggestion that it's recommended not to switch browser windows during initial load
8. Fixed multiple game crashes
9. Continued to correct typos and grammar based on your feedback (thx! <3)
0.10.3-beta
0. All the fixes and adjustments that were added in 0.9.10B are also present in 0.10.3B
1. Added an additional reward for completing Daphne's minigame (it arrives in a couple of days after finishing the minigame)
2. Added stockings to prefects' dressing room memory
3. It's now possible to retry the round in Daphne's minigame right after losing
4. Removed temp stuff from Daphne's minigame
5. Fixed panties artefacts in Live2D animation for Ginny's bj scene
6. Updated conversation background when meeting with Daphne during her yoga sessions near the lake
7. Multiple bug and typo fixes

And now, the art-preview (available in the following post). This time it’s the line art of one of the upcoming locations in the next patch (0.11A) - the Divination Classroom. This is still a work in progress, and some of the lines might overlap in some places, but everything will be fixed and polished before the artist will begin to color it. Also, it has multiple easter eggs hidden in different places, try to find them all :)
So, what’s coming next? There are two more releases that we aim to do before the end of the year. First one is the Halloween update, and the second one is 0.11A, which will have the updated Act 2 Chapter 1, together with other additions.
The Halloween update this time will continue the story that happened with the prefects in part 2 of the quest. Our goal here is to do something similar to how the Christmas quest was updated previously. We plan to include all four prefects who will all participate in a series of events, with the help of a side character. Since this event is a global one, as a temporary measure we will once again make the waifu return just for this quest, and she will disappear after its completion, the same way it currently works for part 2 of the Halloween event. Overall, we plan to release it on or around the 31st of October. Due to time constraints, it won’t be a huge patch, but it will of course include juicy stuff and a funny story for you to enjoy :)
While that’s in the process, we have a bigger task before us, which is 0.11A. The plan is to cram as much content as possible into this patch, which will include at least one new Live2D animation (ideally two), at least one new location, a fullscreen scene, integration of some of the old content into the new story, updated Hermione’s minigame, and more. The biggest tasks here are the texts and the art. The scenario and the texts are around 30% done, and are being actively worked on at the moment. While this is being done, the art team is drawing all the required art for the patch. All this work will be temporarily put on pause once we switch to making the Halloween patch, which is currently in the planning stage. The planned release window for the 0.11A is late november - early december 2023, so around 2-2.5 months from now.
This autumn and winter will be a hell of a busy period for us, probably one of the busiest we ever had, but the results are worth it. As always, we will regularly inform you about the development progress and keep you updated on the latest news and things we are working on.

- 0.10.2B was a blast. Kinda short, but I still enjoyed the new content. The easter eggs and the updated minigame were fun too!
- The patch was fine, but of course I would prefer more content. I expect the next patch will be much bigger!
- I didn’t like this patch that much. The updated minigame was kinda boring, and the new story was super short. Hopefully, next release will be better.
- I don’t care / I want to see the results.

Но прежде всего... Хотя, подождите! Прежде всего, несколько слов о выпуске версий 0.10.3B и 0.9.10B, над которыми мы работали последние 10 дней. В этих версиях исправлены различные ошибки, которые были зафиксированы с момента выхода 0.10.2B и 0.9.9B, а также добавлены некоторые интересные дополнения.

3. Теперь можно повторить раунд мини-игры Дафны сразу же после проигрыша
4. Убраны временные опции и кнопки из мини-игры Дафны
5. Исправлены артефакты на трусиках Джинни в Live2D анимации её первой сцены
6. Обновлен задний фон разговора с Дафной во время её занятий йогой у озера

А теперь арт-превью (доступно в следующем посте). На этот раз это линейный арт одной из будущих локаций в следующем патче (0.11A) - Класс Прорицаний. Это еще не законченная работа, и некоторые линии местами накладываются, но все будет исправлено и отшлифовано, прежде чем художник приступит к раскраске. Кроме того, на нем есть несколько пасхалок, спрятанных в разных местах, попробуй найти их все :)
Итак, что будет дальше? Мы планируем выпустить два релиза до конца года. Первый - это обновление к Хэллоуину, а второй - 0.11A, в котором будет обновленная Глава 1 Акта 2, а также другие дополнения.
Обновление к Хэллоуину на этот раз продолжит историю, произошедшую со старостами во второй части квеста. Наша цель - сделать что-то похожее на то, как ранее был обновлен рождественский квест. Мы планируем задействовать всех четырех старост, которые будут участвовать в ряде событий при содействии второстепенного персонажа. Поскольку это событие носит глобальный характер, в качестве временной меры мы снова сделаем так, что вайфу будет возвращаться только для этого квеста, а после его завершения она будет исчезать, как это происходит во второй части Хэллоуина. В целом, мы планируем выпустить его примерно 31 октября. Из-за небольшого количества времени это будет не очень большой патч, но он, конечно, будет включать в себя сочные вещи и забавную историю :)
Пока мы работаем над этим, перед нами стоит более важная задача - 0.11A. В этот патч планируется впихнуть как можно больше контента, который будет включать в себя как минимум одну новую Live2D-анимацию (в идеале - две), минимум одну новую локацию, полноэкранную сцену, интеграцию некоторых старых материалов в новую историю, обновленную мини-игру Гермионы и другое. Самые большие задачи здесь - это тексты и арт. Сценарий и тексты выполнены примерно на 30%, и в настоящее время над ними ведется активная работа. В это время арт-команда рисует все необходимые арты для патча. Вся эта работа будет временно приостановлена, как только мы перейдем к созданию хэллоуинского патча, который сейчас находится в стадии планирования. Планируемый срок выхода 0.11A - конец ноября - начало декабря 2023 года, то есть примерно через 2-2,5 месяца.
Эта осень и зима будут для нас чертовски напряженным периодом, возможно, одним из самых напряженных за всю нашу историю, но результаты того стоят. Как всегда, мы будем регулярно информировать вас о ходе разработки и держать в курсе последних новостей и событий, над которыми мы работаем.

- 0.10.2B мне понравилась. Коротковато, но я все равно получил(а) кайф от нового контента. Пасхалки и обновленная мини-игра тоже порадовали!
- Патч получился хорошим, но, конечно, я бы предпочел(-ла) больше контента. Я ожидаю, что следующий патч будет намного больше!
- Мне не понравился этот патч. Обновленная мини-игра была скучной, а новая история - очень короткой. Надеюсь, следующий патч будет лучше.
- Мне все равно / я хочу увидеть результаты.

The main issue I have with more small updates compared to spaced out big updates is that since new content is split between acts and getting the story segments connected, I have to keep replaying segments I've gone through 4+ times that take a long time even with dialogue skipping just to get the game to a state where I can actually interact with the new content. Saves never transferring doesn't help the issue, at a point I get pretty sick of having to wait for specific days of the week just to advance story segments I've done so many times.

i haven;t played for a few months. mostly due to every new update making previous saves useless and having to start over from the beginning. So it becomes not worth playing until the finished product since starting over again and again becomes tedious.
