Another ten days of development are behind us, and once again we're ready to share what the team has been working on lately. The long-awaited release of patch 0.12A is getting closer — and, as always, we’re here to give you a progress update, current milestones, and a look at what’s coming next.
Let’s start with the art preview (available in the next post).
This time, you can see one of Susan’s new polaroid photos. She’s lying in a revealing pose — but this time, it’s no accident. Susan knows she’s being watched, and she’s clearly enjoying every second of posing for the camera.
Now onto the main news!
At the beginning of last week, we finished implementing the full logic for Act 2, Chapter 3. Internal testing began immediately after, and by Friday, we had completed the first full playthrough of the chapter with one of the waifus. During that test, we found and fixed various bugs, made improvements, and polished things up. By the end of the process, the chapter was fully playable with that waifu.
Since some scenes change depending on which waifu the player has chosen, we’re currently testing the chapter with the remaining characters. At the time of writing, it’s already playable with two waifus, and testing with the others is underway.
This next phase should go faster than the first playthrough, as a part of the underlying logic is shared across different waifu routes. Most major bugs have been fixed, so the base structure is now working reliably.
This Monday, we hosted a private team playthrough on an internal stream, open to all team members who wanted to participate. The goal was to gather fresh feedback, discuss the flow of the chapter in real-time, and note any necessary adjustments.
In the second half of the week, we plan to release a test build with the latest changes on our Discord server, available to all patrons with the Cannoneer tier or higher — this will help us gather more feedback before final preparations for release.
Currently, a few pieces of artwork are still missing from the chapter — art tasks for them were created during testing. Most of them are already complete and in the final stages of implementation.
There’s also one fullscreen scene that hasn’t been integrated into the game yet. Adding this scene is one of our top priorities for this week.
We also plan to include a Live2D animation for that scene, so that both a static and animated version will be available on release day. However, if the animation isn’t finished in time, it will be added later in patch 0.12B, or one of the upcoming hotfixes for 0.12A.
What’s left to do to finish patch 0.12A? (some of the main tasks at the moment)
1. Continue testing and bug-fixing.
2. Add expressions and gestures to all chapter dialogues, to make the interactions feel more alive.
3. Insert the missing fullscreen scene.
4. Add the remaining artwork into the game.
5. Perform final full playthroughs to ensure build stability and apply final tweaks. >;D
What’s next on our schedule?
1. Continue testing and fix as many bugs as possible.
2. Host another internal team-wide playthrough on Thursday to gather more feedback.
3. Implement all adjustments based on internal test results.
4. Prepare a test client for a wider audience (including eligible patrons).
5. Add facial expressions and character gestures while inserting the last art pieces and the fullscreen scene.
6. Move on to the next top-priority task based on the build status at the time.

Ещё десять дней разработки позади, и мы снова готовы рассказать вам, над чем работала наша команда в последние дни. Всё ближе долгожданный релиз патча 0.12A — и как всегда, мы делимся с вами прогрессом, деталями текущей работы и планами на ближайшее будущее.
Начнём с арт-превью (доступно в следующем посте).
Это одна из новых версий полароидных фотографий Сьюзан. Она лежит в откровенной позе — но теперь уже не случайно. На этот раз Сюзан точно знает, что на неё смотрят, и с явным удовольствием позирует перед объективом.
А теперь к основным новостям!
В начале прошлой недели мы завершили реализацию всей основной логики для третьей главы второго акта. Сразу после этого стартовало внутреннее тестирование, и уже в пятницу мы завершили первый полный проход главы с одной из вайфу. По ходу прохождения было обнаружены и исправлены баги, внесены необходимые правки и улучшения. На этом этапе глава стала полностью проходимой с одной из вайфу.
Поскольку ряд событий в главе меняется в зависимости от того, кто выбран в качестве вайфу, нам предстоит пройти главу с остальными персонажами. На момент написания этой новости глава уже успешно пройдена с двумя вайфу, а тестирование с другими продолжается.
Этот этап должен занять меньше времени, чем первое прохождение, так как часть логики - общая для всех вайфу. После всех исправлений, внесенных в ходе первого теста, основная структура уже работает стабильно.
В понедельник на этой неделе мы провели закрытое прохождение на внутреннем стриме с участием всех членов команды, пожелавших присоединиться. Целью этого этапа было собрать свежие отзывы, обсудить впечатления в режиме реального времени и зафиксировать необходимые исправления.
Во второй половине недели мы планируем опубликовать в нашем Discord-сервере тестовую сборку с последними правками и доработками. Она будет доступна для патронов с рангом Канонир и выше — чтобы получить дополнительную обратную связь перед финальной подготовкой к релизу.
На данный момент в главе всё ещё отсутствует несколько артов — задания на них были сформированы в процессе прохождения. Большинство из них уже готовы и находятся в стадии финальной подготовки к вставке.
Кроме того, остаётся одна полноэкранная сцена, которая пока не интегрирована в игру. Её вставка входит в список приоритетных задач на текущую неделю.
Мы также планируем добавить для этой сцены анимацию Live2D, чтобы на момент релиза были доступны обе версии — статическая и анимированная. Однако если не удастся завершить анимацию в срок, она будет добавлена позже — в патче 0.12B.
Что ещё осталось сделать для завершения работы над версией 0.12A? (некоторые из основных задач на данный момент)

3. Внедрить все необходимые изменения по итогам внутренних тестов.
4. Подготовить тестовый клиент для более широкой аудитории (включая патронов с достаточным уровнем доступа).
5. Добавить эмоции и жесты для диалогов во время вставки оставшейся полноэкранной сцены и недостающих артов.
6. После этого перейти к следующей приоритетной задаче, исходя из текущего состояния сборки на тот момент.

В этот раз мы хотим узнать ваше мнение на довольно специфическую тему: как вы относитесь к идее "делиться" женскими персонажами с другими героями — как мужскими, так и женскими (в том числе и элементы, которые могут восприниматься как NTR-сцены).
Подобный контент может включать в себя, к примеру, просьбу к персонажу выполнить нечто откровенное на глазах у других, или даже вступление в близкий контакт с одним или несколькими персонажами, помимо главного героя. Это может быть реализовано в виде текстового описания, монолога от лица другого персонажа, или даже в виде полноценных иллюстраций.
Хотим подчеркнуть: если такой контент когда-либо появится, он будет строго опциональным и активироваться только по желанию игрока.

Now it's poll time!
We regularly run polls among our supporters to better understand the audience's preferences for Innocent Witches. This time, we’d like to ask your opinion on a rather specific topic: how do you feel about the idea of "sharing" female characters with other in-game characters — male or female (including scenes that could be perceived as NTR-style content)?
This type of content might involve, for example, asking a character to do something explicit in front of others, or even entering into a physical relationship with someone other than the main character. It could be presented as a text description, a monologue, or as fully illustrated scenes.
We want to emphasize that if this kind of content ever gets added, it will be strictly optional and only appear if chosen by the player.
Please vote or leave a comment below — it helps us gauge how fitting this direction would be within the game.
I like the idea — the thought of one or more of "my" characters doing this is actually exciting.

Girl on girl would definitely be hot, like if you could convince one of the prefects (your main) to be physical with another, that would be great

I am not into getting cucked. On the other hand, the player character screwing another guy's girl? Love it! So I'd happily catch a side character posing for or doing stuff with her boyfriend and then after completing a quest or two getting that same treatment from her.

I personally don't care for NTR/Cucking but I'm not going to demand that it's not present because that's not fair to others who do want it. As long as similar artwork is provided on both sides of the argument. It'd suck when you're waiting for that perfect pose to be used from your favorite girl and when it is, it's on an NTR scene and your day/week/whatever is ruined. (For example, your character replacing the other guy's spot, so the artwork is interchangeable?) maybe I'm just weird. Don't mind me.
