Heya, everyone!
Today’s news post is a bit special as it includes several different pieces of information which we decided to gather and present in one big post instead of creating several multiple ones.
In this one we’ll share the info about the new fix + polish release for IW, show the roadmap for the upcoming content and finally update you on the current status of the next patch, 0.12B.
Let’s go!
First, some information about the new 0.12.1A and 0.11.4B releases. These updates are focused on fixing the bugs, polishing certain interactions and improving the overall experience during the gameplay based on the tasks from the backlog and the feedback from players.
Some of the additions are, for example, the ability to choose the completion status for Ginny’s quest when starting the chapters via Select plot / Chapter menu, new minions in the corridor, fixes for Ginny’s quest getting stuck, and other QoL improvements. The full list of changes is available below.
There’s no new major content in these releases, so these versions are aimed more at the new and returning players. For the players who already played 0.12A it would make sense to check these new changes as a part of the upcoming 0.12B update together with new juicy content.
Here are the full changelogs for 0.12.1A and 0.11.4B:
0.11.4-beta
1. It's now possible to choose the completion state for Ginny's quest when starting late chapters in the story.
2. Added logic to prevent Ginny's quest from getting stuck due to a missed visit.
3. Added an ability to replay two scenes with Minerva which were previously only available during the story events.
4. Expanded the pool of students who can appear in the main corridor between classes and on weekends.
5. It's now also possible to meet the prefects at the entrance gates between the classes.
6. Fixed the bug with a certain notice paper piece not disappearing when exiting the Notice Board screen at the Entrance gates.
7. Fixed a bug with Snape missing his arm when sitting at the table.
8. Updated the notification for receiving and losing galleons in the events across the game.
9. Reduced delay of the notification for getting / losing items, plus the items for Alexa's card collection event.
10. Elf-maid can now be more easily scheduled for a night visit in the bedroom - the note can now be left at any time on the bed, plus you can ask her directly to visit after completing her scene and reaching late stage of the story.
11. Mysterious fan quest final stage now uses spell mechanic instead of stat checks.
12. Fixed a bug that triggered the Mysterious fan quest stage with the note when Marcus was not in the office location.
13. Marcus now less frequently talks about the fatigue in the morning caused by the Mysterious fan quest events.
14. It's no longer required to press and hold the button when filling the spell for the spell cast minigame. Instead, you can press and release the button at the start of the spell and then fill the spell as usual. In addition, pressing and holding still works as before if you prefer this way.
15. Fixed the game crashing when reaching the Game Over screen in Act 1 Chapter 6.
16. Fixed a crash that appeared when interacting with a letter in Act 2 Chapter 2.
17. It's now possible to visit the library via the game map in the later stages of the story.
18. Updated the way how "Control" stat is trained.
19. Added a hint about obtaining Daphne's photo rewarded for finishing her minigame.
20. Fixed a bug with items removal when the item that is being removed was not in player's inventory.
21. Polished Act 1 Chapter 1 by removing unnecessary screen transitions, delays and other clutter, and slightly adjusted interactions between the characters.
22. Additionally, polished Act 1 Chapters 2 to 4 and some of the side events by reducing delays when changing gestures for the characters, as well as other pauses and transitions.
23. The tutorial for spell casting minigame can now be skipped.
24. Added the ability to skip the time to 23:00 via the clock interface when it's 11:00 or later.
25. The settings are now saved right after exiting the preferences screen, which fixes annoying bugs when the settings were not saved when certain conditions were met.
26. Fixed a bug with the visits from characters being delayed after transitioning between the chapters.
27. Unified Marcus' owl name, Googlyeyes, across the game.
28. Updated the hint about Sonya's costume rewarded for the "She sells seashells down by the seashore" achievement.
29. Fixed the hint arrow incorrectly appearing in the bedroom in Act 1 Chapter 2 if certain conditions were met.
30. Entering Azkaban location now triggers one of two music tracks instead of just one.
31. Fixed a bug with emotions beings sometimes wrongly shown between the dialogue lines.
32. Updated community translations to include all the latest additions. Thank you for the contributions!
33. Implemented other fixes and adjustments based on the reports from the players (thanks! <3).
0.12.1-alpha
0. All the fixes, adjustments and additions that were implemented in 0.11.4-beta-fix1 are also present in 0.12.1-alpha-fix1.
1. Updated Hagrid's Hut inside location art and the miniatures in the new plot, plus added animations for the background.
2. Fixed a bug causing an old version of Ravenclaw Dorms to appear after certain events in Act 2 Chapter 1.
3. Fixed a crash when summoning Bobby via owl in Act 2 Chapter 4.
4. Added a reaction for Marcus when interacting with the mimic chest in the updated Ravenclaw Dorms.
5. Fixed a crash in Act 2 Chapter 2 caused by a scheduled visit by Xandria.
6. Implemented other fixes and adjustments based on the reports from the players (thanks! <3).

An updated web-based version of Innocent Witches will follow shortly. We strongly recommend checking it out to those players using mobile devices who have issues with playing the game on Android. The players who use Apple devices will be able to play the game as well via any browser.
Next, the roadmap.
The roadmap above demonstrates our current plans for the upcoming updates for the near future. Most of it is already set in motion and being worked on in one way or another, in a form of scenario, art or game-design planning. The only part which we haven’t decided on yet is the patch 0.13B.
At the moment the plan is to rework the side quest “Fashion riot” and include the updated version alongside the other additions. However, the exact content for this reworked version is not yet set in stone. For you it just means that the content of this 0.13B patch might change from what is depicted on the roadmap to something else (which will of course be juicy too).
Finally, a couple of words on what’s the current status of development for the next major content patch, 0.12B.
Let’s begin with the art preview, which this time due to a special format of this news post will be available for everyone with Sailor tier or above! (available in a separate post that will follow shortly). In this preview we can see Myrtle who’s joining the girl in the Abandoned Toilet, both of them are anticipating the visitor that will shortly come to them ;) This is a part of the additions which will be added in 0.12B.
In regards to the current status for 0.12B, things are coming along pretty well. One of the six major parts is mostly in the code, with art and text for it waiting for insertion. The rest of the events are either waiting for insertion into the game’s code, or getting final touches and being finalized. In addition, half of the texts are getting prepared for editing. When they are finished, the second part of the texts will be sent to the editor as well.
Overall, the work continues and we will of course continue to share more information about the status and the release date for this patch!

Сегодняшний пост получится особенным — мы решили объединить сразу несколько важных новостей в один большой выпуск, чтобы вы могли увидеть полную картину происходящего.
В нём мы расскажем о свежем релизе Innocent Witches, представим дорожную карту и кратко опишем текущий статус следующего крупного патча — 0.12B.
Приступим!
Для начала — немного о свежих версиях 0.12.1A и 0.11.4B. Эти обновления сосредоточены на исправлении ошибок, доработке некоторых взаимодействий и улучшении общего игрового опыта. Основой для них послужили задачи из бэклога и ваши отзывы.
Среди изменений, например: возможность выбирать статус завершения квеста Джинни при запуске глав через меню «Выбрать сюжет / Главу», появление новых миньонов в коридоре, исправления багов, связанных с блокировкой квеста Джинни, и другие улучшения качества игрового процесса. Полный список изменений вы найдёте ниже.
Стоит отметить, что в этих версиях нет значительного нового контента, поэтому они в первую очередь будут полезны новым или вернувшимся игрокам. Тем, кто уже прошёл версию 0.12A, будет удобнее оценить все эти изменения вместе с новым контентом в рамках предстоящего патча 0.12B.

0.11.4-beta
1. Теперь можно выбрать состояние завершения квеста Джинни при запуске поздних глав в сюжете.
2. Добавлена логика, предотвращающая блокировку квеста Джинни из-за пропущенного визита.
3. Добавлена возможность повторить две сцены с Минервой, которые ранее были доступны только во время сюжетных событий.
4. Расширен пул студентов, которые могут появляться в главном коридоре между уроками и в выходные дни.
5. Также, теперь можно встретить старост у входных ворот между уроками.
6. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой определенная бумажка не исчезала при выходе из экрана доски объявлений у входных ворот.
7. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой Снейп потерял руку, сидя за столом.
8. Обновлено уведомление о получении и потере галеонов в событиях по всей игре.
9. Уменьшена задержка уведомления о получении/потере предметов, а также предметов для события сбора карточек Алексы.
10. Теперь легче запланировать ночной визит эльфийки-служанки в спальню — записку теперь можно оставить на кровати в любое время, а также можно напрямую попросить ее прийти после завершения ее сцены и достижения поздней стадии сюжета.
11. На последнем этапе квеста "Таинственная поклонница" теперь используется механика заклинаний вместо проверки характеристик.
12. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой этап квеста "Таинственная поклонница" с запиской запускался, когда Маркус не был в офисе.
13. Маркус теперь реже говорит об утренней усталости, вызванной событиями квеста "Таинственная поклонница".
14. Больше не нужно удерживать кнопку при обводке заклинания в мини-игре. Вместо этого можно нажать и отпустить кнопку в начале заклинания, а затем продолжить заполнение как обычно. Кроме того, удержание кнопки по-прежнему работает, если вы предпочитаете такой способ.
15. Исправлена ошибка, приводившая к сбою игры при достижении экрана "Game Over" в главе 6 акта 1.
16. Исправлена ошибка, приводившая к сбою при взаимодействии с письмом в главе 2 акта 2.
17. Теперь можно посетить библиотеку через карту замка на более поздних этапах истории.
18. Обновлен процесс тренировки характеристики "Концентрация".
19. Добавлена подсказка о получении фотографии Дафны в награду за прохождение ее мини-игры.
20. Исправлена ошибка с потерей предметов, когда теряемый предмет не был в инвентаре игрока.
21. Доработана глава 1 акта 1: удалены ненужные переходы между экранами, задержки и другие мелкие недочеты, а также немного скорректировано взаимодействие между персонажами.
22. Кроме того, доработаны главы 2–4 акта 1 и некоторые побочные события: уменьшены задержки при смене жестов персонажей, а также другие паузы и переходы.
23. Теперь можно пропустить обучение для мини-игры по произнесению заклинаний.
24. Добавлена возможность пропустить время до 23:00 через интерфейс часов, когда время 11:00 или позже.
25. Настройки теперь сохраняются сразу после выхода из экрана настроек, что исправляет раздражающие ошибки, когда настройки не сохранялись при определенных условиях.
26. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой посещения персонажей задерживались после перехода между главами.
27. Унифицировано имя совы Маркуса, Лупоглазка, во всей игре.
28. Обновлена подсказка о костюме Сони, который можно получить за достижение Приложи ракушку к уху и услышишь шум моря...".
29. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой подсказка в виде стрелки неправильно отображалась в спальне в главе 2 акта 1 при определенных условиях.
30. При входе в Азкабан теперь воспроизводится одна из двух музыкальных композиций вместо только одной.
31. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой эмоции иногда неправильно отображались между строками диалога.
32. Обновлены переводы сообщества, в которые включены все последние дополнения. Спасибо за ваш вклад!
33. Внесены другие исправления и улучшения на основе отзывов игроков (спасибо! <3).
0.12.1-alpha
0. Все исправления, корректировки и дополнения, которые были реализованы в 0.11.4-beta, также присутствуют в 0.12.1-alpha.
1. Обновлена графика внутренней локации хижины Хагрида и миниатюры, а также добавлены анимации для фона.
2. Исправлена ошибка, из-за которой после определенных событий в главе 2 акта 1 появлялась старая версия спален Когтеврана.
3. Исправлен сбой при вызове Бобби с помощью совы в главе 4 акта 2.
4. Добавлена реакция Маркуса при взаимодействии с сундуком-мимиком в обновлённых спальнях Когтеврана.
5. Исправлен сбой в главе 2 акта 2, вызванный сюжетным визитом Ксандрии.
6. Внесены другие исправления и настройки на основе отчетов игроков (спасибо! <3).

Обновлённая браузерная версия игры также будет выпущена совсем скоро. Мы рекомендуем всем игрокам, у которых игра работает нестабильно на мобильных устройствах, попробовать эту версию. Также эта версия будет работать на устройствах от Apple в браузере.
Далее, дорожная карта.
Дорожная карта выше отражает наши планы по будущим обновлениям. Большая их часть уже находится в работе и проходит разные стадии разработки: сценарий, арт или геймдизайн.
Единственный момент, по которому пока нет окончательного решения, — это патч 0.13B. Сейчас мы планируем переработать побочное задание «Модный бунт» и включить его обновлённую версию вместе с другими дополнениями. Однако точное наполнение этой версии пока не определено. Для игроков это значит, что финальное содержание патча 0.13B может отличаться от того, что указано в дорожной карте (но, конечно же, оно будет не менее интересным).
Наконец, несколько слов о текущем состоянии разработки следующего крупного патча, 0.12B.
Начнем с превью, которое из-за особенностей текущего поста на этот раз доступно всем подписчикам уровня Sailor и выше! (сам арт доступен в отдельном посте, который выйдет следом). В этом арте мы видим Миртл, которая присоединяется к девушке в заброшенном туалете, обе они с нетерпением ждут гостя, который скоро придёт к ним ;) Это часть дополнений, которые будут добавлены в 0.12B.
Что касается текущего статуса 0.12B, то разработка стабильно движется вперёд. Одна из шести основных частей в основном уже добавлена в код, осталось добавить графику и текст. Остальные события либо ждут добавления в код игры, либо проходят последнюю доработку и финализацию.
Кроме того, половина текстов на английском готовится к редактированию (тексты на русском уже завершены, так как сценарий на данный момент пишется изначально на русском). Когда они будут готовы, вторая часть текстов также будет отправлена редактору.
В целом, работа продолжается, и мы, конечно же, будем делиться с вами дополнительной информацией о статусе и дате выхода этого патча!

If i played the online version but then downloaded the game officially, is there a way for me to upload my save in any way?

I am a fan of all of the options provided: quests, puzzles, hunts; but what makes them good are the devs. Honestly, depending on what the devs are actually best at in my opinion this is what elevates the game. So I support pushing the style that the devs are most passionate about and best at implementing. When the idea doesn't come from them it makes the ideas often to scattered and hard to follow and that will usually show in the game, but I really dive into the story and game and try to see what the author and devs intend. Long story short, I support playing to your strengths. And I like fun surprises.
