19:30 They only added details to the destruction of Planet Vegeta, but the main details were all the same. Nothing changed expect more details 97:30 If you want more Dragon Ball Super, there is much more in the manga, so definitely check that out. Also, there is a manga called Dragon Ball Kakumei, which is a fan-made manga with a timeline that starts right after the Broly movie. I can say with confidence that I like it more than the original DBS manga. DEFINITELY check that out.

Glad you enjoyed the Movie Jack. This masterpiece of a movie is arguably the closest thing I've seen to Dragon Ball Z in terms of Art and emotion, well told story etc. It felt much different from Super which for the most part feels rushed sometimes. It's amazing that they packed so much content into an hour and a half. In terms of animation, I don't know when Super is returning but it's been close to 5 or 6 years now since Super finished off, and I'm hoping this art style is used as a guideline for everything going forward. They experimented with the Super Hero art style and honestly it felt like I was watching cutscenes from a game. This movie felt hand drawn which is crazy. Also - Jack you may have noticed some of the art seemed familiar, alot of the One Piece animators worked on this movie too. That little comedy scene of Goku huffing against the pod like a bull is a dead giveaway.

So the main reason for that would be that Jack already watched Super Hero when it released theatrically in 2022. He doesn't have a reaction for it, but he does have a review on his main channel on Youtube.

I'd say Broly probably stacks up to about the actual 60% of Beerus' power maybe 75% if he manages to control his rage but keep the exact same power as when he went up against Gogeta Blue since he was basically just flailing his power instead of fighting in the end

Got retconned in this movie, originally Vegito was stronger because potara had a power boost on top of the fusing of two strengths while fusion dance was just fusing two strengths. Gogeta however stated that they got a boost too "Our two strengths aren't just added together, they're significantly magnified"

I'm a little bit confused that nobody is telling you about "Dragonball Super: Super Hero" - it's the next cannon movie. It's not as hype as Broly is, but it's still a nice watch :) Would like to see a final reaction until Dragon Ball finally continues <3

No Vegeto is stronger than Gogeta. Dragon ball, chapter 501, page 7, bottom middle panel: Old Kai says "it's even better than fusion".

I love how the second Gogeta goes blue he never takes a hit again, full on owning Broly. Also amazing fact about the soundtrack. It was based off the crazy events that latin american countries had while watching the ending of the tournament of power. It has a "Lucha Libre" touch since the mass events where people were watching the show were promoting it like that. Even the names being screamed is a reference of such events. Seriously, it was crazy how people took over whole parks to watch big screens with Jiren vs Goku on them.

Would watch the hell out of you reacting and reviewing the manga from this point onwards.

Going SSJ Blue in Broly was the PROPER transformation sequence Blue deserved. I absolutely hated how in Resurrection F it just went "POP, we're blue now!"

essentially all older versions of broly werent cannon and this is. so sort of a retcon. Also this is considered cannon. Frieza could get stronger but that required training which he feels is below him. So glad you enjoyed the animation.

Fusions are entities with their own personalities. So the "Vegito is more of Vegeta" and "Gogeta is more of Goku" beliefs aren't true. Also Gogeta and Vegito are equal in power

yeah, in the DBZ Battle of Gods movie, when they were alone Whis stated that Beerus needed almost 70% of his power to battle SSG Goku, but then when the anime out a few years later, Whis remarks that Beerus barely used even a bit of his actual power when battling SSG Goku, so yeah Goku does not know the true strength of Beerus

A lil recomendation, i see you like to be on the center of the frame, but it would be really cool if you could move a lil more to the left so we can have more space to watch without covering you. Also the voices in the song, they said it was cause they saw the screenings of dbs on mexico and latin america and wanted to give that atmosphere of people shouting the battle

So interesting fact here, goku actually has a completely false impression of what beerus's strength is, if you go back to their fight beerus tells goku he had to power up to I believe it was 70% of his full power for an instant, but after the fight whis confirms with beerus that it was actually around 40% he only told goku it was more to motivate him, meaning goku actually doesn't to this day know how strong beerus actually is, I may have the numbers wrong but it was to that effect and it makes me laugh when goku says broly could beat beerus (could be true still but I'm not convinced)

Just for context, yes this is all canon. the original bardock and broly special that jack has seen were never canon. if you want to get super detailed, the ONLY rectonned thing is bardocks clothing. but the specials never appeared in the manga and are never canon to the main story.

this movie is the definition of gas. Literally just goes non-stop in the second half lol. Vegeta vs. Broly was hype and Gogeta vs broly was also. Didnt see this in theaters and I regretted it. Seeing Vegeta turn ssj God for the first time was one of my highlights cause it's my second favorite form after ssj2 and Vegeta only has done it in the manga.
