Luffy knowing Sabo was alive would have been distracting for sure and at that point whats few more weeks so that He can till him face to face himself

Such beautiful and intentional storytelling from Oda. The idea of ace dying but finally being able to bring Sabo the release he probably would've never gotten is so tragic but inspiring at the same time. "You're Sabo. You're Luffy's and my brother." Amazing. One thing I thought about later on is why Robin wouldn't tell Luffy that his brother is still alive the second she saw him again. She obviously knew who Sabo is to Luffy so the only thing I could think of is maybe Sabo told her not to say anything so he could tell him but I feel like that's kinda cruel ?? I know in real time it hasn't been that long since the crew met up again so that might be the case. Regardless Oda is the goat!!

I think it's fate, Issho might seem like he knows outcomes but he doesn't give me a cheater vibe this instance. Who knows.
