Jack, to clarify "color of observation haki" just means "observation haki". It is just a different tranlation crunchyroll started using post timeskip to describe the types of haki by adding the "color of". It's not some separate thing. One Piece fans never really say the "color of" part either when discussing haki, because it is just verbal fluff that doesn't mean anything. It is understanble that it was confusing to you, because they just change what they translate it as with no warning or explanation in the subtitles.

I hope you realized at some point, that "Color" is an arbitrary inconsistent Japanese translation thing, it just means "type" as far as I know. So Color of Observation is one type. Color of Armament is one type. Color of the Supreme King is one type. The popular translation calls the latter "conqueror's" and some of us rarely use "color." Future Sight is simply explained as another level of simple Observation, and "color" is not used literally.

not sure if it's been mentioned/clarified on your vids yet but the black and red effects when the haki clashes is Conqueror's Haki clashing specifically. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though please, keep up the vids Jack! <3
