I really like the parallels between Whole Cake and Wano when it comes to food. From Being at a place where you can eat as much as you want, and everything is made from food to only being able to eat something like rice twice a year due to food being scarce. Jack, most of the time why characters aren't moving fast isn't their fault. It's Toei's pacing xD These early episodes' pacing are well... It's so bad that I started laughing after some repeated scenes lol. Fortunately, it will get better later on.

The anime really makes you think that Bat-Man is strong but he just fires some arrows in the Manga. The block of Luffys attack doesn't Happen and normally I don't extended fight scenes like this but when they make someone look strong even though they should be weak it really hurts the narritive.

The pacing is by far worse in Act I, then gets better in Act II, and then Act III (Onigashima) doesn't have any MAJOR pacing issues, well except for the *ice disease no spoiler* thing...

The games so far: Ginrummy, Sheepshead, Hold'em, and Speed. (Hawkins is tarot card themed. Drake had the epithet "Red Flag" since Sabaody which is a card game)
