The way they did this episode was incredible, I stiil remember the excitement I felt when it first dropped and having zero clue which direction the story was gonna take. Watching with you Jack has helped me relive so many moments in the show so thank you for your reactions especially right now with the anime on break until April. This episode made me cry, just out of nostalgia alone. As much as I love the manga and think it's significantly better than the anime, I started One Piece with the anime and that's still how most of my One Piece experience is defined. This episode was such a love letter to all OP anime fans and when I saw the "Thanks" from Toei at the end I got hit pretty hard. Accompanying you on this journey has been almost just as amazing as experience One Piece for the first time, due to your reactions being just as extreme and emotional as my own when first going through the series, and I am really going to miss binging them when you catch up. Regardless, thank you for letting me and others experience this amazing series through new eyes, and I am so excited for you to watch this next portion of episodes. Just know that the One Piece community during the next set of episodes was the most active, excited, and explosive it's ever been. On Reddit, each chapter of One Piece on average gets around 2-4 thousand upvotes based on how crazy of a chapter it is. This is still true to this day... but during this era of One Piece, nearly every chapter got 6k+ upvotes, and the big ones literally broke Reddit by having so many upvotes and comments that entire new threads had to be created. Multiple One Piece chapter threads of the same chapter would show up on Reddit's overall top posts, and the likes were skyrocketing to 20-30 thousand. You could quite literally feel the excitement in the air, and when a certain massive reveal happens, the entire world seemed to have paused for a second to... laugh, smile, and cry. Every social media was flooded with One Piece, and it was impossible to be an anime fan and not know what was happening. Even non-anime fans heard about the series, and this was before the live action. My own sister, somebody who basically doesn't watch anime and has zero connection to it outside of me, actually halfway spoiled it for me because the news was so huge even she heard it. (I had managed to avoid spoilers by consciously avoiding social media like the plague, right up until receiving that text from my sister). Just wanted to let you know what it was like being a part of this era of One Piece. Though the anime reaching this point was less of a massive deal than the manga, the episodes related to that reveal still went crazy viral and brought the whole community together despite most of us not really watching the anime. I'm so excited to see you reach those episodes, and so excited to relive that "golden era" myself. See you on the roof, Jack.

congrats jack! can I just say, that you are one of the contributing factors that got me into one piece in the first place? You started these reactions and I was like "Well, how am I going to see your reaction and not know anything about the show". This ultimately made me pick up the anime and I caught up in like 8 months! Can't wait to see what else one piece has in store for the both of us and all of the one piece fandom.

Man, that's pretty wild. I stumbled across your channel in your early Naruto reaction days, enjoyed it so I used it as an excuse to rewatch Naruto. Then you started Bleach around the time that the Dub crew really started speed cranking out episodes and catching up to the sub (they used to be literal hundreds behind, but they're pretty much caught up now), and I thought... I could use an excuse to rewatch the OP Dub! ;) That's a loooooot of episodes and reactions over the years lol, not to mention all the shorter shows in between.
