One very important thing to note early on about Orihime’s abilities is that her INTENTION behind them plays a big role in how powerful they are. They’re not just about raw strength — they respond heavily to her will and emotions. It’s part of the reason why her "Kotenzanshun" failed; even though her desire to protect her friends is strong, there’s a contradiction when she goes on the offensive. That hesitation reflects who she is as a person — gentle, compassionate, and not naturally inclined toward harming others, including enemies — which is also why her defensive and healing abilities tend to be far stronger. Orihime’s strength isn’t about matching someone blow-for-blow, but about protecting what she cares about in ways only she can. She should not be expected to fight like a traditional warrior.
