KayKit : Medieval Builder Pack. Now Available on Patreon!
🕑 Added 2021-07-30 17:01:23 +0000 UTCIt took a while but the Medieval Builder Pack is finally finished, it has over 200 environment assets, mainly tiles and variations but also some scenery and building assets.
The Medieval Builder Pack will be available to everyone on itch.io in a couple of weeks, but available early to Patrons while I work on some more sample images and promotional material.
The pack features tiles in both a hex and square style, but scenery and building assets can also be placed on any regular terrain.
Both the hex and square tiles have roads and coasts in 3 colour variations (forest, rock, sand), and each tile has a variation without the bottom ground part to stack ontop of eachother for height differences.
Besides the obvious RTS/4X types of games you could use the assets from this pack to make a variety of different environments, maps, and scenes, like this overworld example below:
Patrons at the €5+ tier also get an exclusive snowed over version for most of the buildings and a snowy version of all hex and square tiles.
Future packs will be released a bit quicker than this, I will post an update with a rough roadmap for future stuff soon! 😁

This pack will be remade/remastered soon, to be textured and expanded (just like the old dungeon vs the new dungeon pack). I'll make sure the sizes are the same so you can just replace your assets in your project once the new ones are done :)

I'm midway through a 3D multiplayer space shooter game in Unity and all I can think about it making a darn mobile game outta this .... arrrgghhh! I have another 6-12 months on my current project but this WILL happen, I guarantee it. These are far too cute not to bring them to life! Thanks for the work and the passion Kay!
