🕑 Added 2023-08-04 14:51:06 +0000 UTCI was really hoping to make a fun happy post. But it is what it is.
Uploading the game to steam has been rather challenging.
Every time I submit the store page it takes 3-4 days to get a response. So far I've gotten two negative responses. (Just to be safe I won't share screenshots because it's behind an NDA I agreed to)
The 1st time was because of those 2 images, the buttcrack is not, in fact, PG13. Who knew. The second version is fine. RIP buttcrack.
The 2nd time was because they didn't like some of my answers to their Early Access questions. Basically I can't release a game that's so close to completion in Early Access.
So I can't release in early access. Slight change of plans then.
1. Get the Statues steam store page up.
2. Get a store page for PPTT. Finish the short demo. Release it on steam/itchio/etc.
3. Finish Statues. Do the full release on steam/etc.
I've made some progress on the demo this past month. But I'm not sure how long it's going to take until it's finished.
I'd like to release some screenshots, maybe even a video, but I gotta work on it some more. Right now It's just a bunch of boxes with no textures.
Anyways. Not the greatest of updates sadly. But doesn't really change what I'm doing. Just the order of things.
And with that said, goood bye. Hopefully I'll have something fun to show next week.

I'll try to post a short vid or at least some screenshots either this Sunday(tomorrow) or sometime next week. Right now I have the house level all mapped out/grayboxed, adding textures and assets should be quick. Mechanically, I've learned how to do everything I want to do in the demo. Doing it and putting everything into a working game will take some time. Making the final models for the game, ghost and MC. And all the animations. This will take the longest. Then there's the small stuff like, SFX, ambiance, dialog, etc. Giving estimates is hard but maybe one or two months of good work and the demo should be done. But I've been pretty bad with estimates in the past so who knows.
