🕑 Added 2020-08-05 02:37:01 +0000 UTCSo, today brought me the unfortunate news that the new bed I set up two days ago has been newly infested by bed bugs. I thought they were gone, but they're not. So I'm on to round two of getting the whole place treated, throwing out a bazillion things, and washing everything else as many times as I can. Add onto that my AC stopped working late last night and it has been a FUN day. And then came the news that Patreon just lost a major lawsuit, and I am not actually sure if it's going to be around in the future. So yeah. I'm looking into alternatives, if you use anything else and like it, do let me know because my brainpower is pretty much nil right now. I've had multiple breakdowns today, and I've been trying to get my landlord to terminate my lease so I can move, which is going to be fun because I still have a year left on it. Yay me.
Thankfully this weekend I'm leaving to go to a cabin with my family for a week. I'll try and get writing done there in a hopefully much less stressful environment. Any prayers or well wishes you can send my way are appreciated. It has been a very long, tiring day. This will pass. Eventually. But in the meantime, I've gotta figure out how to stop myself from being eaten alive by bugs.

From other creators, the lawsuit wasn’t a loss, it was a no it’s not going to be injuncted, the case may continue or go to forced arbitration (the t&c procedural reason for said lawsuit) patreon has the money to burn— if they lose. plaintiffs don’t because they put it on the flip side of the Earth
