To me this is a very fun episode. The best use of Alexander so far. And I totally understand Chief O'brien's feelings towards a 12 year old Keiko. As you said the Ensign Ro as a child was spot on, so much she could have been related to the actress. I liked the actress who was Ginan's young self too. If this happened to me, you'd have to drag me back onto the transporter.

TNG wasn't aired/syndicated in order where I grew up, so this was the first episode I saw that had Ensign Ro in it. Other appearances had me like "Its that grown up version of that one kid from rascals!"

This was a very weird BUT FUNNY episode when it aired

I really enjoyed the patron takes on this one TA. I don't foresee myself giving another take until Voyager begins, so I hope they stick around.

Josh as a kid looks like Kevin Steen for some reason.

It’s a testament to the quality of the writing and character development that you can recognize the character by their behavior/personality despite being portrayed by children. O’Brien’s being weirded out by his “child wife” is 100% relatable. Well adjusted adults just aren’t attracted to children no matter how intellectually/emotionally mature they are.

This was disappointing in that regard. MF is great, they didn't use her every episode, and here they had her but morphed her into a different actress. Who thought that made any sense?

I bet Josh was a jumper. The quiet ones, they always look so innocent. You think you can turn your back on them. Next thing you know, bam! They're bouncing on the bed.

A couple of episodes previous one of you mentioned wanting to see Ensign Ro again. Here you go! 🙈😂

If you want to define episodes by categories, you could show them as Venn diagrams and see where they overlap.

I used to dislike this one as a kid, but like it as an adult. Weird...
