S tier for both parts 1 & 2 for me as well.

I love both I + II. S Tier. It's a camp western time travel romp full of cheese and the origins of Picard and Guinan's deep relationship that crosses centuries and timelines.

Obviously the producers were looking at the writers and were like "hey we got all these old timey sets on the paramount lot, lets save money and use em". The writers tried to have fun with that but ultimately a real waste of a 2-parter. D.

It's good that the Twain character was annoying. The man was a satirist. He's supposed to scratch your nuts.

Solid D. Mark Twain is the only really entertaining part of the whole pair of episodes, and the only part keeping it from being an E for me. It's a definite skip on rewatch.

It really comes down to whether Clemens is a hit or a miss to you.

It's not great and there is that one guy being annoying as Mark Twain throughout the entirety but at least they cleared up the yawn Fest that was part one

I agree that Simon Clemens is a rather grating character. But one character I don't like that much doesn't detract from an episode that is otherwise really fun, so B tier for me sits right.

A tier for me. I love Time's Arrow both part 1 and part 2. I still find it wild that I seem to be in the minority on this, but nevertheless respect your reasoning for why it doesn't appeal to you.

It’s a C or D for me. Interesting premise and a weak execution.

This is one of the most ToS TNG episodes, and it shows. Pure contract filler. It's just so baffling why they'd make it a two patter season finale like they did. It could have easily been a one episode mid season story, and it would have been just fine, but they gave it a position to be compared to stories like Best of Both Worlds, Redemption, and Chain of Command.
