Decker Canyon Preview + Photo Maps

It's time for another exciting update! I'm thrilled to announce the release of 3 new photo maps as well as an early preview of Decker Canyon.
Decker Canyon is a rough preview to show everyone how much work goes into planning and creating these long roads using photogrammetry. The early version is fun to drive, but not the prettiest – so don't worry if it looks a bit jagged or out of place. We've already started work on the full release version, and while it will take several weeks to completely reconstruct, it will be worth the wait!
We hope you're as excited about this update as we are! Stay tuned for more details on when we expect the full release of Decker Canyon, and all our other photo maps.

Thank you for saying that! I'm hard at work building the full version, which is a completely new scan separate from the one used to build this preview. The full loop will be about 10 miles long with two very different roads - Decker Canyon Rd., which is very tight and treacherous, and Encinal Canyon Rd., which is much faster with wide sweeping curves. Best of all, Decker Canyon Rd. connects to Mulholland Highway at the top so I will be able to go back and scan more to expand it over time. I'll try to at least get a background mesh in place on this preview so it's a little more realistic to drive. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please let me know!

Decker Canyon is a very promising map! I really like the feeling of the road, a pleasure even at low speeds (like in reality). I can't wait to try the finished version! Thanks for the hard work.
