Sleep of Prometheus

I sometimes find the tension between the universe we live in and the cages we construct for ourselves a little confronting. I just wanted to explore that in this shorter piece.
Up next, we get into some gnarly hard sci-fi - just finishing up the script now!

Too close to home, spikes occur usually between 3:00am and 4:00am π Love it, as always

π Thanks man

Re-read it now with that context in mind. Made more sense π Mind it?? Isn't this the kind of things Patreon is for? So you can do *your* thing, and experiment and evolve as an artist? I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to share this kind of work with us, and the world π
Scott Base
Thank you. π I was trying to capture some of the underlying feeling I have being alive in these awful times, but also do it from a much higher perspective, of our place in the universe. I canβt say it was fun to do, but Iβm glad to get it done.
Scott Base
Thank you Amit! This one is just about how we Iive our lives chained up in conventions and ways of thinking that are very limiting and kind of ignore the incredible universe we exist in. But yeah, it was a bit experimental so I donβt blame you for struggling with. I hope you donβt mind me using Patreon to try some new things out from time to time!

Thanks Kirk. I remember looking at photos of Jupiter when I was very young and thinking βthis is real and itβs out there nowβ and it felt like my brain was twisting. I think this comic is based on that feeling I had that day. SO PUNY
Kirk
This is why I follow. I like this a lot, it relativizes our existence; puny humans we are. ππ

Not sure I understood this one all the way, but it's been a long day. Your artwork is stupendously good. Each frame here a beautiful piece.

Thanks Carlos; yeah this one felt a little more experimental than usual, which can be a bit scary for me, so thank you for letting me share with you.

Wouldn't be the festive season without an existential crisis. Love your work!

Beautiful and agonizing, as always. Thank you
Mickey
I wasn't expecting an existential crisis today but hey ho on we go (This was really great)
