Yeah, totally, that is what this story is, the universe conspiring to give us justice because the real world won’t. I think that’s what a lot of stories amount to though, right? Fantasies of justice? But you’re right, this, like a lot of my stories, has a hint of divine retribution to it.

The narrative of divine punishment, damnation, eternal hell, reinterpreted. Not prone to religious texts at all, but the soothing catharsis, through this narrative so much more relatable, felt way too real. Also..I can’t help but get some faint vibes of the dark things within the rings of “the expanse “ and this gives me extra chills 🖤
