Do not weep because the villain didn't get the full Mark Hamill movie star treatment, smile because Mark Hamill got here at all. Him and all the hilariously unnoticeable A-list actors throwing in a voice in this show.

I never can get over Zuko and Azula's duel. The name of the tune here on the soundtrack is called "The Last Agni Kai", and, you know, I want to believe it is that, it is the last Agni Kai anyone ever fights in this world. It is the end of this horrible, hurtful, fascist cultural expression. Even when I was young we had the tradition of Mensur fencing, when people would get together in some very specific formal attire to stab each other in the face in ritual combat to get some cool scars. Because proving you're tough is everything that counts under this kind of authoritarian dictatorship.

Dang, the B cut her own bangs - universal sign of "she's lost it." Also, Sokka's move with taking out the airships wasn't a boomerang thing, it was the FAN move that he learned from Suki! (with the melons)

I really wish Ozai was a better villain, he's so lame and underexplored. Mark Hamill deserved better.

Azula is not a coward, she's just has no interest in honor and her only goal is total victory at all costs.

"Into the Inferno" is by absolute favorite episode of the series just for the Zuko and Azula fight

After watching the show so many times it's really interesting to me how the first time I watched it I was so happy to see her losing it and now it's just sad to see something like that happen (again highly recommend the psychology of Azula video it's very interesting). The last Agni Kai is so visually beautiful but I love that the score is so somber and melancholic, because at the end of the day it is two emotionally (and in one case physically) scarred kids (and siblings) fighting each other to the death (or at the very least Azula is) and that's just tragic. It's also great if you compare it to Azula and Zuko's first fight in the show and how Zuko uses styles of firebending that appear more similar to those of the other elements. One of the best animated fights ever in my opinion. The other three fights are great too though! It's cool to see the real masters at work and Toph, Sokka and Suki working together to bring down the airships and the Aang vs Ozai is on such a huge scale with Aang using everything he has learned and it still only just being enough to keep him out of harms way! Anyway I'm rambling, great reaction as always! Can't wait to see the final episode next week!
