Definitely among my favorites. The aliens are great, and Barclay does it so well.

Paula, you don't have to feel old when you get older. I just turned 40 a couple months ago and it feels insane sometimes! IMDB can really provide fun facts. I look at it a lot.
Henchman Twenty1
It's the eyes, in my opinion.
Chris Neumann
IN regards to T2, it can be a little screwy because the movie came out in 1991 but it takes place in 1995.
Artemis Zeidman
A+ episode. Katrina’s fan joy was palpable.
Colin 3of5
No, they are just using the same floating head idea. They did the same in red dwarf to display Holly

Not Paula not having seen Terminator... D: I prefer Terminator 2, but Terminator is a classic that set up such a wonderful universe.
Christine Ester
My favorite Deanna Dress this was fire.
Joe Concepts
First off, yes, he was Murdock on the 80s-tastic show The A-Team, where he was the "crazy" guy and was always doing wacky voices, etc. A lot of '80s kids loved him! Also, Paula did mention once before people think she's younger than she really is. Hearing this episode's math, I can see why. She's not old or anything but she definitely looks younger than she is!
Brett Whittaker
Ok so, are these the same aliens as Final frontier?
Brett Whittaker
Dwight was Murdoch in the A-Team. Wouldn’t it be crazy if Mr T was one of the security officers!? “ get out of that machine you crazy fool!”
JXTN
Ralph-Data: *chuckles* "We're in danger." Wow, Barclay went even more HAL-9000 than I remember. Not only "I'm afraid I can't do that" but they even blocked audio to talk like in 2001. What a great episode! :) Ah, shit. I just realised what storyline ends this season. Katrina's gonna fuckin hate this.
David Gallagher
I like your IMDB dives. I dive too and look along
Arek Schneyer
I completely forgot that we got Get Warped Today! what a pleasant surprise for me!
Kirk Deighton
what a great episode. excellent terminator bonus content. I like the IMDB stuff. Every time there is a Broccoli episode it makes me wonder what it would have been like with more A Team cast on TNG. Templeton Peck strikes me as a chunky burgundy uniform TOS movie era guy. B.A.could be Worf's cousin who hates transporters. Hannibal would have made a good Romulan.
Joel Featherstone
I love this episode, as I do every time we see Barclay. It was great to see him show more confidence and I really think some of that intelligence was Barclay's own. I'm a little traumatised to realise I will be 42 in 2029 though, so thanks for that.
Bryan Foster
VIDEO NO WORKY! 😫
DarkAshtar
This is one of those stand out TNG single episodes that I think most people remember.
DarkAshtar
A classic episode
Brian Moore
Dwight should have won an award for his portrayal of Barclay in this episode. He did such a great job of playing the range from mousy introvert to smooth operating attempts with Troi, not to mention the amazing transition of acting skill in the Cyrano role in the play. One of my favorite episodes to rewatch!
Bob Hughes
You looking up imdb stuff? saves us having to do it later!

I have no problem with you looking up Imdb or googling info. Sometimes I learn something new, and I often look myself if I think I know an actor. I love Dwight Schultz. Def one of my favorites, along with Colm Meaney sp?
Brian Hakala
Dwight Schultz is a terrific actor and this one gave him the chance to showcase the range he has. I love how connected Katrina gets to these characters!
Jonathan Emery
It took Barclay 9 minutes to tell the computer how to build the neural interface
Bruce Bromley
Gotta love those alien probe episodes. I enjoy this one except for the floating head at the end. Too reminiscent of one of the cheesiest entries of the ST:TOS film entries. I for one enjoys all your cat tangents and IMDB asides, especially when there's a ,moment like today when Kat realized Schultz did VO work for Avatar.
Eric
I'm always IMDBing to see where I know actors from. In 2029 I will be 50 years old!!
CAZ
oh no, I too was born in October 1984 :-\
Henchman Twenty1
Dwight Schultz was the perfect actor to play Barclay. I feel that it was his performance in the role that really made him a fan favorite. Before this I remember him best as Howling Mad Murdock from The A-Team tv series. He's also done a bunch of voice acting for animated shows and video games. His wife is a therapist.
Mike
You guys have the most chill cats I've ever seen. I grew up with cats and none of them would ever let anyone handle them the way you guys do with yours.
