I only mentioned it because they had already talked about it, not trying to spoil anything just clarifying what I thought they already basically knew. I watch a lot of reactions to Gravity Falls since I like rewatching the show so if I got my wires crossed on which reactors know what then my bad and I’ll be more careful in the future. I don’t know if Patreon comments show when they’ve been edited so in case they don’t and someone reading this is really confused, the previous paragraph has been edited. This episode is one of a few examples where we can see that Dipper is less willing to forgive people that mess with Mabel than she is.

Unfortunately, the cypher hint that's being whispered at the end of the intro can't just be "listened to", because it's *backwards*. It needs to be reversed, in order to become understandable, and even then it's barely possible to make it out. You already guessed the nature of the first cypher used, in an earlier episode, namely a letter-shift. You just need to figure out the number by which to shift the letters. The last message that was written in that cypher contains a hint at the *current* cypher. Unrelated to the codes, you should go back to the page detailing the Northwest Coverup and read the entire text. It's hilarious and contains some information about other things as well.
