Come on Zuko, would it be that hard to just say "First of all, I'm sorry for the things I've done to you. I've hurt all of you in the past. (Except you, the girl in green? I don't think we have met?) I've wronged you especially, Katara, when we met I was going through a very confused period, I led you to believe I was ready to turn to your side because I thought I was. But I was wrong. I was wrong about everything I ever thought. You don't have to forgive me, or believe me, but I can say I've come to realize the Fire Nation is wrong, my father is wrong, and cruel, and evil, and the other day I made it clear to him what I think so I can't ever go back home, and I want to teach you firebending and help you defeat him." Okay, it might have been very hard to say all that. The show is quite good at the kids believably messing up when they have to say something important.

I agree with Ruma and hope that in the live action series being made on Netflix that the Zuko and Iroh dynamic is the most focused on part of the series. From what I can tell, Iroh is gonna be amazing :)

I doubt it; Avatar has always had quantity over quality! Or maybe its great, never seen that show... Luckily for us mother-rickers season 5 isn't far from premiering!!

Zuko is the most realistic and arguably the most relatable character in this series. He's been through so much. He was abused and neglected, and eventually abandoned by his family at a very tender age. He terrorized and hurt people because that was how he was taught to behave. He looked up to his father and envied his sister. He had mood swings and temper tantrums like a regular teenager does. He wasn't a 12-year-old magical savior riding a huge flying bison. He was a compulsive teenager trying to find himself. I love Zuko so much. He's one of my favorite characters of all time. To me, Zuko and Iroh are the heart and soul of this show, respectively.
